The Spanish royal family have made their annual summer trip to Mallorca where they will attend official events before having a private vacation. On Sunday evening, Queen Letizia presided over the closing ceremony of the 12th edition of the Atlàntida Mallorca Film Fest at the La Misericordia Cultural Center in Palma.
Atlàntida Film Fest was launched in 2011 as the first online film festival in Spain. The objective was to introduce the public to the best international films that could not find a place in theatres.

Queen Letizia, in her role as UNICEF's Ombudsman for Mental Health for Children and Adolescents, chaired a working meeting on mental health at the headquarters of the organization in Madrid.

Her Majesty first received a representation of the newspaper La Razón, on the occasion of the 20th Anniversary of its supplement “A tu salud”.

The King and Queen of Spain preside over the 2019 National Sports Awards, and the 2020 National Award for Extraordinary Sports at the Royal Palace of El Pardo on Monday.
The National Sports Awards recognize exceptional athletic performance, and also recognize individuals or entities who have made a significant contribution to the promotion of sport. The Extraordinary Sports award was in recognition of athletes who contributed to the fight against the pandemic.

Queen Letizia attended the 5th Conference on 'The Informative Treatment of Disability in the Media' at Vallehermoso Stadium on Tuesday.
The event was organized by the Federation of Spanish Journalists Associations (FAPE) and the A LA PAR Foundation, in which a report on the evolution of the media coverage of the Paralympic Games in its history was presented. During the conference, Queen Letizia also attended a training session for Paralympic athletes.

King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia made their annual pilgrimage to Catalonia today for the Princess of Girona Awards. They were accompanied by their daughters, Leonor, Princess of Asturias and of Girona, and Infanta Sofía.
On arrival, Their Majesties held a meeting with the Advisory Council of the Princess of Girona Foundation (FPdGi) at Albéniz Palace.
They then joined their daughters at a coding workshop on the palace grounds together with young participants in the FPdGi program 'Generación Docentes'.
The Spanish royal family then presided over the annual meeting with winners of the Princess of Girona Foundation awards from previous editions.
The awards recognize exceptional achievements made by the youth of Spain in areas such as scientific research, artistic creativity, social solidarity and entrepreneurship. The awards ceremony will be held this evening and attended by the Spanish royal family.
