Letizia goes tribal for audience hearing with FAD

Today, Queen Letizia attended an audience with the Foundation Against Drug Addiction (FAD). You may recall that Her Majesty became honorary president of FAD in September, taking on the role from Queen Sofia who served as patron for nearly 30 years.

Queen Letizia opted to wear her Zara embroidered jacket (US$169) which she recently premiered at the Brand Ambassadors Awards.

Queen Letizia kept the rest of her outfit simple, wearing her Hugo Boss 'Taru' black trousers and black knit top which looks like it may be the BOSS Hugo Boss 'Fayna' cashmere sweater.

On her feet were the Magrit 'Mila' pumps in black leather. Letizia owns this style in many different colours and fabrics.

Their Majesties attend funeral of Spanish policemen killed in Kabul

Today, King Felipe VI & Queen Letizia attended the funeral ceremony at the Canillas police complex in Madrid, honouring the late policemen Jorge Garcia Tudela and Isidro Gabino San Martin Hernandez killed during a Taliban attack near Spain's embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan three days ago.

With heavy hearts, Their Majesties offered their personal condolences to the families and colleagues of the deceased.

On this somber occasion, I do not feel it is appropriate to comment on Queen Letizia's outfit.

King & Queen of Spain chair Princess of Girona Foundation meeting

Today, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia welcomed the board members of the Princess of Girona Foundation to the Royal Palace of Madrid for their annual meeting.

Prior to the commencement of the meeting, Their Majesties held a minute's silence as a mark of respect for the two Spanish police officers killed in the recent terrorist attack on the Spanish Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan.

Today's board meeting summarized the activities carried out by the Foundation during the course
of the year and outlined the action plan and budget for 2016.

There were no surprises when it came to Letitia's sartorial choice for today's engagement. She was repeated the Hugo Boss navy pant suit she debuted a few weeks ago for the Nutrigenomics seminar.

Under the blazer, Letizia wore a white collarless blouse, a repeat from the annual board meeting of the Princess of Asturias Foundation in June this year. The blouse is reportedly by Hugo Boss but I have been unable to locate it in their inventory. She has so many variations of this style it's hard to keep track! It looks very much like her BOSS 'Bedona' natural silk blouse but this top features a pleated placket and front yoke flaps.

Today, Letizia premiered a bespoke pair of blue reptile leather pumps from her go-to footwear designer, Magrit.

Queen Letzia finished the outfit with her TOUS cultured freshwater pearl drop earrings.

Tomorrow will be a somber day for the King and Queen and Spain when they attend the memorial service for the two Spanish police guards killed by a Taliban attack on the Spanish Embassy in Afghanistan last Friday night.
