Queen is chic in double denim for third hospital visit

Queen Letizia was back to visit her father-in-law, King Juan Carlos for the third time following his heart surgery at University Hospital Quironsalud Madrid. She was accompanied by her eldest daughter Leonor, Princess of Asturias.

Her Majesty looked relaxed in a classic combination of white denim jeans, a scoop neck tee, and a blue denim blazer. The single button jacket has a contrast topstitch and peaked lapel. It is unidentified.

The King and Queen of Spain were back at Quiron Hospital on Tuesday to visit Felipe's father King Juan Carlos as he recovers from heart surgery. The couple were joined by their two daughters, Leonor and Sofia on this occasion.

The Spanish royal family chose the Son Marroig estate in Deia for the backdrop of their second photo opportunity while on vacation on the island of Mallorca. On Sunday they posed for the media outside Marivent Palace, their summer residence in Palma.

King Felipe and Queen Letizia interrupted their summer vacation in the seaside city of Palma de Mallorca to welcome 528 guests from the Balearic community, including politicians, academics, welfare groups and sports personalities.

Spanish royal family poses for summer photocall

The much anticipated official photos of the Spanish royal family on summer holidays in Palma were released today.

The media and photographers were invited to Marivent Palace on Sunday for the traditional photocall which usually occurs at the commencement of the family's vacation on the island of Mallorca.

This year there was a delay and I initially thought the photos taken during the Kings Cup regatta last Thursday would serve as the summer family portraits so I'm glad I was wrong!

The annual summer portrait sitting was started by King Juan Carlos. Felipe has continued his father's tradition since his enthronement. Below is a look back at the photos since King Felipe's VI reign.

Following yesterday's girls day out in Palma, the Spanish royal ladies were reunited for an evening at the ballet. Queen Letizia was pictured leaving the Auditorium of Palma de Mallorca alongside her daughters Leonor and Sofia, and her mother-in-law Queen Sofia. The family had seen a performance of Swan Lake in the Mallorcan capital.

Queen Letizia stepped out in a new black and white striped knit tank dress. The midi length frock has a scoop neck and fluted skirt. It is a piece from Carolina Herrera's Resort 2019 collection.

Letizia carried a black leather piped clutch bag first seen last summer in Palma, and on her feet she wore her Manolo Blahnik 'Gotrianc' Slingbacks 105 heels.

The Spanish royal family kicked off their summer holidays in Mallorca with a day at the Palma Yacht Club to watch the 4th day of the 38th Copa del Rey Mapfre sailing competition (King's Cup).
