The King and Queen of Spain presided over the delivery of the XXXIX edition of the “Francisco Cerecedo” Journalism Award at the Westin Palace Hotel in Madrid.

The award is granted by the by the Association of European Journalists to highlight those careers that deserve this honour for their talent, originality, ability to transgress the pressures and influences of the powers and promote freedom of expression.
Queen Letizia brought back the embroidered Felipe Varela midi dress featuring a patchwork of a jacquard reptile-like skin, and hand-embroidered glass bead motifs. She first wore this intricate dress for the 2018 Princess of Asturias awards ceremony.

She wore black glossed leather pumps (hard to say which ones) and carried her black satin Felipe Varela. Queen Letizia completed the look with her De Grisogono black diamond teardrop earrings.
