Queen Letizia looks chic in a contemporary Inés Martín Alcalde power suit for ARCOmadrid 202224/2/2022
The Queen of Spain inaugurated the ARCOmadrid 2022 fair, which in this edition returns to its usual dates to celebrate its 40th Anniversary (+1).
Queen Letizia usually accompanies her husband King Felipe VI to this annual event, but today she went solo because His Majesty was attending an emergency meeting with the National Security Council for Ukraine.
ARCOmadrid is the International Contemporary Art Fair of Madrid. It is one of the prominent contemporary art fairs on the international circuit, held annually at Ifema-Madrid in the Spanish capital.
Her Majesty stepped out in a sharp pinstriped pant suit by Inés Martín Alcalde. This is the first occasion we have seen Queen Letizia wear a garment by the Madrid based fashion label.
The €420 two-piece suit features a double breasted blazer with peaked lapel, structural shoulder pads, and front patch pockets. It is teamed with a coordinating pair of cigarette pants, and finished with a sash belt at the waist.
She carried her navy Carolina Herrera 'Baret' clutch, and on her feet were the Magrit 'Mila' pumps in navy leather.
Queen Letizia topped off her contemporary look with a new pair of huggie earrings by Gold & Roses.
They are the 'Air Garden' earrings (€1,885) featuring a marquise emerald and diamonds set in 18kt rose gold.
