The Spanish magazine, Hola has exclusive photos of the King and Queen of Spain enjoying a date night just prior to receiving the tragic news about the recent Paris terrorist attacks. King Felipe can be seen talking on his cell phone while walking hand-in-hand with Queen Letizia down a city street in Madrid.
Queen Letizia wore a beautiful red wrap coat from Hugo Boss which we have not seen before. The BOSS 'Catifa' coat (US$1495) is from the German brand's Resort 2016 collection. It is currently available to purchase from Hugo Boss, Saks Fifth Ave and Bloomingdales.
She teamed the coat with a color-block top also from Hugo Boss. It is the 'Faye' Virgin Wool Colorblock Sweater (US$215). It is currently available to purchase from Bloomingdales, Saks Fifth Ave and House of Fraser.
Queen Letizia also carried a new bag from Malababa. It looks like it could be either the 'Minihontas' black lambskin clutch (€330) or the python version (€670). Due to the grainy photos, it's not possible to say for certain which one it may be. This is a style Letizia also owns in beige and brown suede. The defining feature is the genuine agate centrepeice.
Letizia wore her Uterque white nappa leggings (sold out), which we first spotted her wearing during a night out with friends in May this year.

This evening, the King and Queen of Spain delivered the XXXII edition of the "Francisco Cerecedo"Journalism Award at the Hotel Ritz in Madrid. The purpose of the annual award is to honor journalists who battle the pressures and influences of power, and promote freedom of expression.
Queen Letizia has favored black for this event over the past 8 years, and that trend continued this evening.
Tonight, Queen Letizia pulled out her Felipe Varela black tuxedo dress. The double-breasted dress was first worn in October 2013 at the Prince of Asturias Awards in Oviedo, and again in March this year.
What caught my eye this evening was a new black crocodile clutch.
The exotic clutch is from luxury Spanish brand, Ines Figaredo, who specializes in unique leather handbags and accessories. The bag is made from crocodile skin and features a handcrafted bronze feather on the front flap which is gilded with 24 K gold. It retails for a staggering €4,200!
Queen Letizia added a little more gold to her outfit, wearing her TOUS gold long dangle earrings.
On her feet were the Magrit 'Mila' black patent leather pumps (€220).

This afternoon, the King & Queen of Jordan touched down at Madrid's international airport where they were greeted by the King and Queen of Spain.
The formal welcome included a rendition of the national anthems from both countries and a review of the guard of honor.
For the occasion, Queen Letizia kept her style simple wearing an all red ensemble. Her counterpart, Queen Rania wore a retro inspired outfit.
Queen Letizia's outfit consisted of her Felipe Varela poppy red bouclé sheath dress which she premiered in November 2014 at the International Conference on Nutrition, and wore it again during a visit to the Freixenet winery in February this year.
She again paired the dress with her red leather pumps (brand remains unconfirmed). However, on this occasion, Letizia made some modifications to the outfit. Today, she carried her Adolfo Dominguez red 'Aspen' leather wristlet clutch, and wore her ruby and diamond earrings (reports are they may be from Spanish jeweler Suarez, but this has not been confirmed).
Here's a look back at the previous encounters between the two stylish royal ladies.
