Today, Don Felipe and Doña Letizia inaugurated the 34th ARCO International Contemporary Art Fair at the IFEMA exhibition site in the Spanish capital of Madrid. They have attended this annual event for the past several years, but today was their first as reigning monarchs. It has been somewhat of a tradition for Letizia to debut a new outfit at this annual art exhibition. And she didn't disappointment this year! She looked picture-perfect in a new dress that resembled a muted version of a Mondrian artwork. She premiered a Felipe Varela color block dress which I think was a fitting choice for this art fair. The bespoke tricolor sheath dress featured panels of white, black and teal green stretch wool fabric, trimmed with bezel-set Swarovski crystals. This trim is a common design element in Varela's current bag collection, but does not appear in any of his off-the-rack apparel pieces. It seems the Queen is fond of the colour-block trend this season. Just last week she debuted a similar dress by Carolina Herrera at the National Culture Awards. Today, she color coordinated the dress with her black Felipe Varela chevron quilted clutch and new teal suede pointed toe pumps. At first glance I thought her shoes were the Magrit platform pumps she wore to the National Day parade, but on closer inspection I noticed that the the style was different. These pumps don't have a platform and have a fully covered suede heel. The style is similar to her Magrit black suede pumps so I'm still inclined to think they are by Magrit. Today, we also saw the return of her black star-burst drop earrings with diamond hoops. She first wore them in February 2014 but they remain unidentified. I think Queen Letizia put a lot of thought into her outfit today and selected the perfect ensemble with a a nod to contemporary art. SHOP QUEEN LETIZIA'S STYLE FOR LESS ...

Today, the Queen of Spain attended a council meeting of the Royal Board on Disability. Letizia is the Honorary President of the agency, whose primary mission is to promote the prevention of impairments, rehabilitation and social integration of people with disabilities. Today, Her Majesty recycled her chic Hugo Boss leather dress which she debuted in October 2014 during her solo visit to Vienna. Today she combined the sleek berry red Hugo Boss lambskin leather sheath dress with her black single button Hugo Boss 'Juicy' blazer. Queen Letizia accessorized with her executive style men's Hugo Boss 'Norrmalm' business bag. On her feet were the LODI 'Debra' bordeaux patent heels. Queen Letizia wore her ruby colored earrings. They have remained unidentified and it has been the consensus that they are semi-precious ruby cabochon earrings. However, the Spanish magazine Diez Minutos has suggested they may be by luxury Spanish jeweler, Suarez. They have implied that they may be the Limited Edition Art Deco Earrings with central oval cut tourmaline and white diamonds (€ 9,450). Comparing these earrings with the photos below, I seriously doubt they are the fine earrings by Suarez. I see no pavé diamonds. I will stick with the consensus that they are semi-precious fashion earrings. What do you think? SHOP QUEEN LETIZIA'S STYLE FOR LESS ... Today, the King and Queen of Spain visited A Coruna, a city in the north west coastal region of Galicia. They first presided over the closing of the Eixo Atlantico do Noroeste Peninsular General Assembly which is a trans-boundary association of municipalities which groups the cities of Galicia and North Portugal. Following the assembly, Their Majesties made their way to the Museo de Belas Artes da Coruña (A Coruña Musuem) where they inaugurated "The first Picasso" exhibition. I was delighted to see the return of the black full circle skirt which Letizia premiered last month at the Telefónica Ability Awards. Today, Queen Letizia combined the skirt with a new knit top. She wore the Hugo Boss black/white striped sweater (US$195). The fine-gauge sweater is crafted from pure wool and styled in a slim, hip-length silhouette. On her feet were the Lodi 'Sara' burgundy/black pumps which she first wore last month with her Hugo Boss tuxedo. Letizia coordinated the pumps with her deep red Uterque floral clutch. She wore her beautiful TOUS earrings designed by Rosa Oriol. The three tier drop earring feature ruby, emerald and moonstone, and are set in 18kt yellow gold. Earlier in the day, Queen Letizia kept warm by wrapping up in her Felipe Varela white wool belted coat. SHOP QUEEN LETIZIA'S STYLE FOR LESS ... Today, Queen Letizia presided over the 10th anniversary of the not-for-profit organisation, Fundéu. The institution was set up in 2005 to promote the proper use of Spanish in the media. It offers tools to help those who use Spanish in an official capacity. The organisation consists of journalists, linguists, lexicographers, editors and translators. As a former journalist, Letizia understands the importance of the correct use of language. Today she commended Fundéu for their excellent work over the decade and said it was, "an adventure that has united journalists and linguists for the good of all." Queen Letizia recycled an outfit she wore in October last year when she lent a hand to the Red Cross fundraiser. The ensemble consists of a wool monochrome grid top by Danish label Designers Remix, black Hugo Boss trouser pants and Tissa Fontaneda red nappa bubble 'Flavia' clutch. Letizia changed a few pieces from the last time she wore this outfit. Today she opted to wear her Carolina Herrera black patent and suede pumps, and ruby cabochon dangle earrings. When Queen Letizia arrived at the headquarters of Fundéu she wore a black wool coat by Hugo Boss. The style is the same as the red Hugo Boss 'Cegina' coat which she premiered on her visit to Germany in December last year. The £850 coat features a turn-down collar with a concealed snap button placket and 2 seam-concealed slash pockets on the front. However, the coat is not new. I believe she first wore last month to an event at the University of Navarra. I did not have access to any high definition photos of this event so I was unable to ID the coat at the time. Tomorrow, Queen Letizia will travel with her husband, King Felipe to the north east of Spain, where they will have two engagements in the city of A Coruña. SHOP QUEEN LETIZIA'S STYLE FOR LESS ... The King and Queen of Spain began their working week delivering the National Culture Awards at the Royal Palace of El Pardo. The awards recognize individuals or institutions who contribute to the enrichment of the cultural heritage of Spain. Following a couple of weeks of recycled outfits it was refreshing to see Queen Letizia premier a new dress for today's engagement. The flattering A-line dress with its contrasting panels, framed her silhouette perfectly. The colourblock dress is by Carolina Herrera, a designer that has secured a firm foothold in the closet of the Queen. The £1753 dress is rendered in wool crepe and features a key-hole neckline, short sleeves, and invisible back zip fastening. The strategic black, navy and ivory colorblock pattern gives the illusion of a slim hourglass figure. Letizia coordinated the cap-sleeved dress with her bespoke suede Magrit pumps and black floral applique clutch from Uterque. Doña Letizia opted for long hoop earrings. At first I thought they were new but it's been reported that they date back to 2008. Letizia first wore them to the Spanish Youth Congress 25th anniversary dinner, on 18th November 2008 (thanks to Natalie for the information). Today was just the second occasion she has worn them publicly. Today's outfit was a big hit and I hope we see Letizia wear more of this feminine fit-and-flare style. That's exactly what King Felipe and Queen Letizia did when they arrived at the Freixenet factory to commemorate the company's one hundredth anniversary of their first wine production. They make Cava, a Spanish red sparkling wine that is mainly produced in Catalonia. The Queen appropriately wore a vibrant red outfit, which she first debuted in November last year at the Second International Conference on Nutrition held in Rome. The recycled outfit consists of a bespoke Felipe Varela bouclé wool panelled sheath dress, Magrit blush patent clutch bag, red leather pumps and TOUS 'Beethoven' earrings (£ 990). Their Majesties visited the National Paraplegics Hospital in Toledo to mark the 40th anniversary of the center which was opened by Felipe's parents, King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia On 7th October, 1974. Today, King Felipe & Queen Letizia unveiled a plaque at the rehabilitation hospital to commemorate the anniversary. Their Majesties were given a tour of the facilities and witnessed how sport can be used in the rehabilitation process. The King and Queen of Spain were eager to play along with some of the patients and they showed their competitive side in a game of foosball and table tennis. The Queen donned a familiar ensemble, wearing her navy Hugo Boss pant suit paired with her Carolina Herrera fuchsia pink geo pattern silk blouse. The wool suit consists of the Hugo Boss 'Jetala' blazer and matching 'Taru' trouser (shown in grey below). Her Majesty premiered the outfit in October 2014 at the 25th Anniversary Ceremony of the Spanish National Transplant Organization. Today, Letizia changed up the look, wearing her black leather platform boots which are reportedly by by Hugo Boss. To date I have not found any high resolution photos of the ankle boots, but these booties from Hugo Boss could be the style she is wearing. There was a new addition to her outfit. Today she wore the Alexandra Platas fuchsia agate 'Blooming Light' earrings (€54.00). The earrings feature hammered sterling silver hoops with faceted fuchsia agates which can be removed or interchanged with other stones from the collection. Letizia also owns the pink quartz and blue tourmaline stones from the 'Blooming Light' collection. On World Cancer Day, Doña Letizia, honorary president of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC), chaired the fourth edition of the Forum Against Cancer titled "For a comprehensive approach. Cancer Treatment and care for all and in all stages of the disease."
For the occassion, Queen Letizia opted for an understated professional look. She wore her black camel hair Hugo Boss 'FS_Jesila' blazer which she paired with a new ivory blouse and grey trousers.
The silk-blend top is the BOSS Hugo Boss 'Bisella' blouse, defined by a inlay along the button placket.
From the limited photos, it's difficult to identify Letizia's pants, but they are most likely by Hugo Boss. Hugo Boss have an extensive range of women's grey trousers but I believe Letizia's may be one of these styles below:
She carried her Uterque black croc stamped leather wristlet clutch.
On her feet were the Magrit pewter leather pumps, first worn in September last year to the Climate Summit in New York.
She finished her outfit with a pair of sun shaped earrings from Yanes. They are set in white gold with a hundred diamonds totaling 3.03 carats. According to Hola magazine, they were a wedding present.

Their Majesties are honorary presidents of the foundation which facilitates the programming and management of the opera house in Madrid. For the second consecutive day, Queen Letizia opted for a plum hued ensemble. Could this be her favorite shade of winter 2015? Yesterday she wore the Hugo Boss aubergine skirt suit, but while her blazer is near-identical, Letizia swapped yesterday's matching skirt for a grey pencil skirt. Today's wool jacket is by Felipe Varela from his Fall/Winter 2013/14 collection. Letizia debuted the blazer in February last year at the World Mobile Congress in Barcelona. The grey skirt may be the Hugo Boss 'Ranina' wool pencil skirt (£159). Queen Letizia completed the outfit with her bespoke Magrit grey suede platform pumps and Links of London Hope egg earrings.
