Queen Letizia makes a rare fashion faux pas

The King and Queen of Spain attended a concert on Saturday night at the Yacht Club of Palma de Mallorca. Letizia wore a black blouse paired with straight leg jeans and strappy heels, an otherwise appropriate outfit for a summer concert. Unfortunately, the flash lighting of paparazzi cameras revealed a little more than anticipated.

The top appears to be the black Hugo Boss 'Esvea' Flutter Blouse ($155) made from lightweight crepe and finished with a ruffled wrap-around sheer trim.

Letizia reportedly wore Liu-Jo 'Bottom-Up' jeans. The Italian made jeans are known for their posterior enhancing design.

The Queen carried a Malababa 'Tête de Mort' clutch from their Winter 2013 collection. The black flap bag is adorned with goldtone skulls.

Letizia completed her outfit with black strap platform heels which are reportedly by Hugo Boss but I am yet to find the style in their collection.

This past weekend marked the end of the Spanish royal family's vacation in Majorca. They will return to Madrid to commence their full time royal duties.

Spanish royal family visit Sierra de Tramuntana

Today, the Spanish royal family chose the rugged mountain range of Serra de Tramuntana for the backdrop of their second photo opportunity while on vacation on the island of Majorca. Last week they posed for the media outside Marivent Palace, their summer residence in Palma de Mallorca.

The King and Queen of Spain along with their two daughters, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia, began their day with a visit to the newly opened visitor centre in Bunyola. The Tramuntana mountains were recently declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in recognition of the unique agricultural techniques used on its steep and craggy limestone slopes which stretch the length of the northwest coast of the island.

Afterwards, the royal quartet took in the views of the mountains before enjoying lunch at the beautiful Raixa country mansion. The historic estate has passed through several noble families through the centuries, and was transformed to its present Italian style villa in the 18th century.

Queen Letizia opted for a very comfortable ensemble from her favorite high street label, Hugo Boss. She wore the 'Sengari' pants from the Boss Orange collection. The relaxed fit pants have a tapered leg with distinctive decorative and dividing seams. They are made from supersoft cupro blend with viscose. They originally retailed for €179 but are currently on sale at Amazon.de.

She coordinated the pants with a relaxed t-shirt also from the Boss Orange range. The 'Tacraft' tee features a printed front with stitching, beads and sequins. It is rendered in soft cotton and Lyocell blend.

Letizia carried the oversized 'Stone Shopper' bag from Adolfo Dominguez. The flesh-coloured tote features an aniline leather finish with two short grab handles and a lacquered ombri effect logo plaque. The bag originally retailed for €159 but is currently on sale for €79.

On her feet were sandals by Spanish shoemaker SarahWorld.

I contacted the company and they kindly provided stock images and a description of the style seen on Letizia. The model is the 'ONIX Flat' sandal in suede grey taupe. It features a thong toe strap and ankle strap with velcro closure. It is finished with a Spanish leather sole.

It seems Queen Letizia is loving statement sunglasses this summer. Today she added interest to her outfit with a new pair of sunglasses from Spanish brand Blackgaurd'64. The 'Hulk/Flying Apple' style makes a statement with their bright green frame and reflective lens. They retail for €39.

Last week she was spotted wearing budget-friendly orange framed sunglasses by 41 Eyewear.

Queen Letizia dazzles in white at summer palace reception

Tonight, the King and Queen of Spain hosted a reception at the Royal Palace of La Almudaina in Marjoca. They interrupted their tranquil summer vacation in the seaside city of Palma de Mallorca to welcome two hundred guests from the Balearic community, including politicians, academics, welfare groups and sports personalities.

Their Majesties were joined by Felipe's mother, Queen Sophia. She looked beautiful dressed in a relaxed floral tunic pant suit.

Queen Letizia showed off her summer glow in a white one shoulder dress by Felipe Varela.

This little white dress is a repeat which dates a few years. Letizia first premiered it in August 2009 at the same venue as tonight's function.

When then saw her wear it at a lunch reception for Michelle Obama in 2010. This was at Marivent Palace, their summer residence in Palma.

Letizia also recycled the dress in June this year and wore it to a welcome reception for the Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto and his wife at Zarzuela Palace. On this occasion, Letizia styled it with a Felipe Varela white lace jacket.

Tonight, Doña Letizia wore her TOUS earrings which she debuted last month on a state visit to Paris, France. The three tier drop earrings feature ruby, emerald and moonstone, and are set in 18kt yellow gold.

Spanish Royal family take summer vacation in Majorca

King Felipe and Queen Letizia have traveled to Palma, Majorca for their annual summer holiday with their daughters, 8-year-old Leonor and 7-year-old Sofia. Majorca (or Mallorca) is an island located in the Mediterranean Sea. It is the largest island in the Balearic Islands archipelago, in Spain.

Queen Letizia and the princesses arrived first having come from Madrid.

The King joined his family after attending the commemoration for the WW1 centenary in Belgium.

Once reunited, the royal family posed for the media out the front of Marivent Palace, the official royal summer residence on Palma de Mallorca.

Queen Letizia looked relaxed in her Hugo Boss 'Sharony' drawstring pants. These casual pants by BOSS ORANGE feature an allover Aztec-inspired print, elastic drawstring waistband, tapered leg with rolled cuff and two side French pockets. They are made from 100% viscose and originally retailed for US$195 but have now been discounted to US$146.99

Letizia first wore the printed pants in March this year, when she attended a concert at CaixaForum in Barcelona.

Doña Letizia coordinated the pants with a simple white v-neck t-shirt and her Magrit 'Rebeca' sandals. They a made from black snake skin leather, trimmed with gold leather and feature a T-strap adorned with Swarovski elements.

She again wore her Chanel 'Comete' diamond star stud earrings.

The sunglasses Queen Letizia wore on her way to Marivent Palace are by Spanish label 41 Eyewear. The funky 'NOXER' style features an orange graffiti design with a red-sunset mirror lens. They retail for a modest 29.95 euros.

It will not be all play for the King & Queen while in Mojorca. They will host a number of receptions at their summer palace and receive audiences from various societies and organizations from the Balearic Islands.
