The Queen of Spain chaired the annual meeting of the Board of the Residencia de Estudiantes (Student Residence) today.
Located in Madrid, Residencia de Estudiantes was the first cultural center of Spain. Founded in 1910, the Student Residence was a vibrant hub for scientific and artistic work and exchange in Europe. Nowadays, it remains one of the most prominent cultural centres in Spain. It hosts concerts, conferences and exhibitions. It is also inhabited by around 20 young outstanding artists and researchers, which keep alive the historical legacy of this place.
We expected Her Majesty to don a low-key corporate style today. However I think her outfit was a little less business and a little more chic compared with some of her past looks for this meeting.
Letizia combined familiar neutral-toned pieces to create an effortless ensemble.
Queen Letizia teamed the Massimo Dutti beige linen-blend coat (€165) with her crepe cropped trousers, also by the same Spanish brand.
She wore a new pleated neck blouse.
Letizia added a touch of gold with her Adolfo Domínguez gilded python clutch, which coordinated perfectly with her gilded Uterque pumps and a new gold-toned belt.
The belt buckle features the Felipe Varela butterfly logo.
Her Majesty finished the look with gold drop bar bezel set diamond earrings.
At first, I thought they were new, but it turns out Letizia dug deep into her jewelry box to retrieve these earrings which have not seen the light of day since she first wore them in January 2007!
I loved every detail of Letizia's outfit today and I thought she looked radiant. She is so good at achieving the right balance between business and elegance. What did you think?

Today, the King and Queen of Spain attended the 10th anniversary luncheon for the Spanish newspaper, El Economista. The Madrid based publication focuses on economical, financial and business affairs.
Queen Letizia rocked a new jumpsuit from her go-to brand Hugo Boss.
She wore the label's 'Kasha' jumpsuit (US$595) from their HUGO line. The sleeveless crepe jumpsuit has a white faux-wrap, v-neck top, contrasted with a navy pleated front pant.
Letizia continued the colour-contrast theme with her accessories. She contrasted the jumpsuit with a new pair of red Mango perforated design sandals (US$79.95).
The strappy cut-out stiletto sandals are made from a suede-like fabric and finished with a lace-up back. They are available to purchase from Mango and Amazon.
She coordinated the look with a new colour-block bag. The body of the clutch bag is red and has a contrasting navy flap front. I believe it is the CH Carolina Herrera 'Baret' clutch from the designer's Spring/Summer 2016 collection.
Queen Letizia complimented the outfit with bright red lips, and wore her Zara colourful gem earrings which she debuted last week.

Today, the King and Queen of Spain welcomed audiences to the Palace of Zarzuela.
This was Letizia's fifth consecutive engagement with her husband by her side.
The royal couple first held a hearing with the newly elected board members of the Press Association of Madrid.
This was followed by a meeting with representatives from all of Spain's Centers of Excellence in the area of science.
For today's hearings, Queen Letizia recycled her well worn BOSS Hugo Boss 'Dinoma' Onyx Fantasy dress.
The ink-blot sheath dress is a favorite of the Queen's, and she has now donned this frock on ten occasions since its debut in October 2013.
Letizia accessorized with familiar pieces. On her feet were the Prada black Saffiano print patent leather pointy toe pumps.
She finished the look with her Links of London Hope Egg earrings, also a favorite of the Duchess of Cambridge.

The King and Queen of Spain had joint back-to-back engagements today. Their Majesties first held an audience at Zarzuela Palace with the medical and scientific societies attending the 44th National Congress of the Spanish Academy of Dermatology and Venereology.
Following this, they traveled to the headquarters of the Royal Spanish Academy (SAR) for a plenary meeting with SAR members.
Today, the Queen of Spain continued her fondness for monochromatic style.
Here's a look back at some of her more recent black and white ensembles.
Today, Queen Letizia premiered a white box-pleated skirt by Carolina Herrera featuring a black contrast trim.
Letizia also wore a new black knit sweater. I initially thought it was her Hugo Boss 'Fayna' cashmere sweater but the images below shows the difference in the neckline between the two sweaters.
On her feet were her black patent straight-vamp pumps by LODI.
She carried a black clutch, but there are still no detailed photos of the bag.
Yesterday, Queen Letizia introduced the Coolook 'Kraz' earrings with interchangeable drops.
Today, she paired the Mother of Pearl cluster studs with onyx drops (€61).
Letizia complimented her feminine look with a pretty pony-tail.

Today, the King and Queen of Spain presided over the National Culture Awards 2014 and 2015 ceremony at Palencia Cathedral.
The awards express the recognition for the contribution to the enrichment of the cultural heritage of Spain in areas such as Fine Arts, Cinema, and Literature.
Their Majesties were perfectly matched for the occasion. King Felipe opted to color-coordinate his tie with his wife's berry pink dress.
Queen Letizia wore her beloved Felipe Varela shutter pleat frock.
The sheath dress dates back to 2009 and has been re-worn on many occasions since then.
The dress gained worldwide media attention when Letizia wore it for a luncheon with the then French President Nicolas Sarkozy and his wife Carla Bruni in April 2009.
Today, Letizia accessorized the dress with her Magrit pink reptile pumps and a new clutch bag by Mbubag.
She debuted the brand's 'Arts' model, made from luxurious ostrich leather (€395). The clutch features a flap front and push-lock closure, and has a removable wristlet strap.
Queen Letzia finished her outfit with a new pair of earrings by COOLOOK.
The earrings are from the jeweler's 'Kraz' collection which features interchangeable cluster studs and tear drop gems. Letizia paired the 'Kraz' Mother of Pearl earrings (€220) with the 'Kraz' raspberry Agate tear drops (€61).
