The King and Queen of Spain visited the Air Force basic academy in Leon to preside over the graduation ceremony of new cadets. King Felipe VI, the commander-in-chief of the Spanish Armed Forces, was in full military uniform. Hundreds of graduating officers got to celebrate with their new King and Queen. For today's event, Queen Letizia repeated an outfit she first debuted in May 2012 and has worn a few times since then. Her ensemble consisted of a beige tweed jacket by Uterqüe, classic black straight leg pants and her Magrit black suede peep-toe heels. She carried her Adolfo Dominguez light tan pleated bag, also from 2012. Dona Letizia opted for simple diamond stud earrings. SHOP QUEEN LETIZIA'S LOOK FOR LESS ...

Queen Letizia and her husband, King Felipe VI, arrived in Lisbon today for their debut state visit to neighbouring Portugal as reigning monarchs. It is their second official trip abroad since Felipe's Proclamation. Last week, Their Majesties travelled to Rome to visit Pope Francis in the Vatican.
In their first official visit to Portugal, the King & Queen of Spain were received by President Anibal Cavaco Silva and his wife, Mary.
Queen Letizia debuted a bespoke powder blue Felipe Varela ensemble consisting of a sheath dress and matching lace trench-style jacket.
Letizia added another colour to her ever growing 'Leonor' collection by Spanish shoemaker Magrit. Today, she wore the 'Leonor' pumps in a bespoke blue suede, a tone which matched her outfit. This style has been customised with a concealed platform. The modified design is identical of the pair she wore during the Proclamation ceremony.
Letizia completed her look with a genuine python skin clutch by Spanish label Madmacarena. She debuted the bag last month for her first engagement as Queen, where she met with representatives from the Association of Victims of Terrorism.
The bag style is called 'Jessica' and is handcrafted in a host of colours by Madmacarena. Queen Letizia owns it in Blue Fantasy. The company revealed that the clutch was a Christmas gift to Letizia which they sent a couple years ago. They were very surprised and honoured to see Litizia finally showcasing their gift especially now that she is Queen!
The Queen again kept her jewellery simple, wearing only her Aldao diamond and sapphire hoop earrings in white gold.
It was a solo engagement for Queen Letizia today. Her Majesty attended a ceremony to mark the 150th anniversary of Spain's Red Cross (Cruz Roja) in Madrid. She was greeted by a swarm of adoring Spaniards as she made her way into the venue. Once inside, the Spanish monarch took to the stage to deliver a speech, paying tribute to the valuable work done by the humanitarian organisation in times of crisis. Doña Letizia looked chic and stylish in yet another classic white jacket, this one by Hugo Boss. The tailored Boss Hugo Boss 'Jeisana' blazer features a peplum hem, round neck and hook-and-eye closure. It has cropped sleeves with vented cuffs. This particular style has sold out, but there is a new season version currently on sale at Saks Fifth Ave. Queen Letizia paired the jacket with navy pleated-front silk trousers by Felipe Varela. The style is called 'Pantalon Seda Pinzas' and are available in a few colour options. The pants retail for € 375. Doña Letizia carried her Uterqüe white snakeskin clutch, also seen yesterday at the delivery of the Iberdrola Foundation scholarships where she wore a yellow and white outfit. Letizia coordinated the outfit with her navy suede Magrit peep-toe platform pumps. Completing today's look were a pair of elegant pearl drop earrings. SHOP QUEEN LETIZIA'S STYLE FOR LESS ... Their Majesties, the King and Queen of Spain delivered Iberdrola Foundation scholarships and research grants at Casa de America in Madrid. Queen Letizia wore a summery ensemble consisting of lemon capri pants with a matching v-neck top from Spanish label Uterqüe, and a white boucle blazer by Felipe Varela. Today's outfit is similar to the one she wore in June 2013. In both instances she carried her Uterqüe white snakeskin clutch, but the blazer is different. Today she wore a boucle style jacket. They were greeted by a large crowd upon arrival at Valladolid-Campo Grande station. Their Majesties were delighted with the warm welcome they received and made time to greet the public. At the ceremony, King Felipe delivered a speech outlining the importance of innovation for the growth of Spain's economy. The royal couple then jointly delivered awards to winners from a variety of categories within innovation and design. Here they are posing with this year's award recipients. For today's engagement, Queen Letizia adopted a smart casual look, pairing a beige tribal pencil skirt with a vibrant cardigan. The skirt is by Spanish brand Isato, labelled the 'Naska'. It is from their S/S 2014 collection. The skirt is made from supple lambskin leather with an Aztec inspired front panel. It retails for 349 euros. The bold tangerine red cardigan coordinated perfectly with the skirt. The sweater cardigan features a crew neck, textured knit and trimmed button placket. There is no official ID on the cardigan, some sources believe it may be Mango, but I think the cardigan shares elements of these two Hugo Boss styles, a label Doña Letizia is fond of. Letizia completed the outfit with her Ángel Schlesser croc embossed orange clutch and her Magrit taupe suede pumps. Here's a closer look at Letizia's diamond halo earrings which she has worn previously. SHOP QUEEN LETIZIA'S STYLE FOR LESS ... |
