For her only engagement of the week, Queen Letizia received an audience at Zarzuela Palace.

She first meet representatives of the Association for specific language impairment in Madrid (ATELMA). This organisation is run by a group of parents who aim to raise awareness of the disorder that impairs language acquisition during childhood development.

Next she meet with representatives of the Scientific Committee of the Spanish Nutrition Foundation (FEN), an organisation that promotes coordination between scientific research and food industries on all issues related to nutrition. This subject is an important one to Her Majesty who is currently serving as the UN's Special Ambassador of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) for Nutrition.

Queen Letizia sported a familiar ensemble, consisting of a red blazer (most likely Felipe Varela), Mango floral print blouse and black trousers (most likely Hugo Boss). We first saw her wear this combination in November 2014 for the 75th anniversary of the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC).

On her feet were the Gucci 'Jolene' black leather mid-heel pumps.

Today, we saw the return of the dainty Chanel Comète diamond star earrings.

Hi Marian, thank you for your comment!

The origin of the jacket was never confirmed. A few other bloggers simply assumed it was Mango without confirmation. I give reasons in the following blog post why I think the blazer may be from Felipe Varela: http://www.queenletiziastyle.com/blog/queen-letizia-shows-support-for-science

I'm delighted you enjoy the blog :)

This is one my favorite everyday work outfits that she has. I was able to replicate it in part -- only the shirt I found had more red in it and the white is more ivory. But it was a steal at $4 so I definitely got part of the look for less. :) I love following the style of the Duchess of Cambridge as well but Queen Letizia wears a lot of slacks that are more commonly worn where I live. It's more practical to replicate her style. I love how you put the look for less items on there - it reminds me of a show a long time ago called the Look for Less where people would pick a high style designer's outfit and would try to find a similar look at the mall for cheaper. I don't recall seeing that shirt at Kohls but I may have to check it out. :)
