The Queen of Spain welcomed audiences at the Palace of Zarzuela today and opted to repeat an outfit she wore in January for her first audience of 2018.
The ensemble consists of soft white pintuck blouse and taupe paperbag-waist cropped trousers. The brand(s) of the two pieces are still unknown.
On her feet Letizia wore her camel Hugo Boss block-heel pumps.
A familiar pair of gold filigree hoop earrings topped off the look.

Love the blouse so much wish I had one like it. Nice combination, worked better with the other earrings though. Also the shoes are kind to heavy looking and don't match the outfit.

This is the exact same outfit worn in Jan. You think they could have switched it around a bit by at least changing the shoes. I don't know why Letizia's team can't come up with some different ideas on how to mix & match. This shows a lack of creativity and imagination. All they did was change the earrings? Big deal!

Well, I am disappointed! And not by Letizia, although, yeah, we HAVE seen this outfit before, and I agree that repeating almost an entire outfit is a bit pedestrian, but only two comments??? I always look forward to reading what Laura, Sandy, Mary, Genevieve and other ladies have to say! And where is Bertie? You always have so many interesting things to say... Please, reveal yourself :)

Because it's very Spanish, "jaretas" at the chest, nevertheless very old-fashioned..

The blouse is awful, something my grandmother would wear.. and it doesn't match with those modern trousers, not even the colour.... anything olive or something...

Iberia, I have a question for you. Some people say Letizia is one of the hardest working royals. But I just don't see it. It seems she has only very few engagements each month. Can you set the record straight? Is she very busy and hardworking? Maybe the press only cover a few of her events and she does a lot behind the scenes?

Sandy, I have covered every single one of Letizia's public engagements since becoming queen so you can see for yourself the number of events she does per month on this page: http://www.queenletiziastyle.com/letizias-outfits.html. She averages about 3 outings per week and I'm sure she does so much more in private. I think these numbers stack up well compared to other consorts.

Sandy, Elizabeth has answered you, already. She follows Letizia more than I.

Sorry. Iberia but I have to disagree with you this time. I think the blouse is beautiful and I wish I had one myself. I think the pintucks on the bodice are very romantic. But I hate the pants.and shoes!

I wonder about a Queen Sofia's blouse, her mother in law, She's just borrowed some items. Actually the style is totally Spanish...a vintage??

I don't think Queen Sofia and Letizia are the same size. If she did borrow, the blouse would need some serious alterations.

When Sofia was young, she wore a similar size as Letizia these days.

Sandy, Queen Letizia recently wore a dress that Queen Sofia first wore in 1984 so there's a chance this blouse may be vintage too!

Elizabeth, I'm amazed Letizia wears her mother-in-laws old clothes. I had no idea. I think that shows they have a very warm and close relationship. I find that refreshing in a world where it is hard to get along even with your own family.

I bet you think Letizia is short because Felipe is almost 2mts tall, Letizia is 1,68 tall...Sofia 1,70... Only 2 cms taller..

I know the internet says Letizia is 5'7" tall. But I think she looks shorter/petite (maybe 5"4"). She doesn't have long limbs like most tall people. I find celebrities and famous people in general tend to exaggerate their height and makes themselves taller. Compare Letizia to her sisters-in-law Elena and Christina.

I have see them in person,in front of me, Elena and Cristina are 1, 78 cm...5"10"..... and Letizia 5" 6".....I live in Madrid, very near them. And they go out to the movies, to have lunch as normal persons.

I would say Leti looks tall with her 4" or 5"heels. When she is in flat shoes she looks petite. Just look at her next to Michelle Obama, Queen Rania and Queen Mathilde. I think that's why she wears such high heeled shoes because she is self conscious about her height. If she was 5' 7" she wouldn't have to wear those very uncomfortable shoes.

Those women are very tall about 5"10", Mathilde of Belgium and Máxima are 5"11", I insist I have been with Letizia and she is like I, 5"6"...It It up to you.

Iberia, I better not argue with you because you actually saw Leti in person so you should know better than I. But you were the one who raised the point " I bet you think Letizia is short". So you yourself seem to feel she does look short even though she is in fact tall.

I am obviously a minority, but this outfit is one of my absolute favorites. I just love it and I would wear it myself. And I LOVE the shoes. I think she looks awesome and she probably likes it a lot, that's why she repeated it at the exact same way.

Sorry, Maya she may work hard compared to other royals. But in general when you compare her to the average person her workload is very light. 3 engagements a week is nothing compared to working 40 hrs, doing housework, caring for children, cooking, cleaning etc etc. And she spends a lot of time on her appearance.

She is a Queen, queens don't work, they do charities...Up to now, Spain has decided to have a Monarchy, so we pay for it. A president - Head of state as in France cost money also and the first lady, as Melania Trump. Does she work??? Felipe is our Head of State like in Britain in other countries as Sweden they haven't got any power.

I think monarchies are ridiculous in the 21st century. I don't pay much attention to the "work" they do. I only want to see the clothes they wear! That is my main interest. And yes Melania is the same, basically just stands next to Trump and looks pretty.

I know what you mean and I generally agree with you. However, Felipe and Letizia really work. These outing are just a part of their job. She is involved in very serious charities, she gives excellent speeches, she had a career before marriage.

Maya, let me say that I really admire Letizia especially when you compare her to the Duchess of Cambridge. I do think she is very intelligent and tries very hard to do her best in whatever assignment she takes on. It's just that in her position she really can't do much and not much is expected of her. But, I do think that her main contribution is her appearance and her clothes. Letizia herself knows this and that is why she had and continues to have so many cosmetic procedures. That's all people care about- how she looks.

It amuses me how Letizia feels no qualms about a wholesale repeat including accessories. I'm not a big fan of this look but the Queen wears it well and it's more than serviceable for royal duties. It's just a bit more dressy than I like, I'm a big fan of super-sleek Letizia
