A royal recycle for ceremony commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Spanish Constitution

The Spanish royal family attended the Solemn ceremony commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Spanish Constitution at Congress of Deputies on Thursday.

Queen Letizia looked regal in her bespoke red Carolina Herrera piped sheath dress.

She has now worn it on three occasions since its debut in September.

Queen Letizia supplemented the look with custom pieces by Magrit. She carried her red 'Kares' suede clutch bag and on her feet were the 'Ivonne' pumps.

Queen Letizia added a personal touch by wearing her mother-in-law's ruby and diamond dove 'Saudi' earrings.

They were gifted to Queen Sofia from the Saudi Arabian monarchy many decades ago. You may recall Letizia first wore them during the State visit to Japan in April 2017.

Letizia can re-read this dress as often as she likes, I will not tire of it. I remain lost in wonder at the superb fit and the impeccable, subtle, piping detail. Repeat accessories work just fine too, including those stunning earrings. They give a wonderful baroque touch against the clean lines of the dress

What a well dressed family!

Wise choice of a repeat to keep the focus on the event. Carolina Herrera and Queen Letizia are a wonderful match. Minor quibble, the nude shoes are perfectly fine but I would have preferred a pair of snake skin court shoes. They may have felt more season appropriate too (not the ones with the silver studs as the earrings look gold) I do appreciate that for photographs in future history books the nude may appear more timeless...

Dress, hair, earrings, purse all look good. Don't care for the shoes. Would prefer red, black or navy shoes with this red dress.

All the ladies look nice especially Queen Sofia. You can't see her outfit well in the top photo but she wore a lovely claret velvet dress with bell sleeves that looked great on her. I also love that pearl necklace with the lovely pendant. Leonore and Sofia Jr. also wore some really cool navy and grey capes upon their arrival to the ceremony. Beautiful earrings on Letizia.
