Later in the day Queen Letizia attended the 30th anniversary of the entry of women in the Civil Guard, and the 25th anniversary of the entry of the first woman into the General Military Academy as Officer of the Corps.

I love this Hugo Boss suit and am glad to see Letizia making good use of it. My one difficulty this time is how severe the black high-neck looks against Letizia's paler make-up, it seems to drain colour from her face. It could just be a hazard of the photography as otherwise I'd say the outfit was spot on. The plastic panel mules are a welcome subversive touch to a conservative outfit.
