The Queen of Spain was busy on Wednesday with a day of public engagements. Her Majesty first received in audience The Friends of the Prado Museum Foundation who are collaborating with the Museo del Prado to establish a viceregal art commission.
Later in the day Queen Letizia attended the 30th anniversary of the entry of women in the Civil Guard, and the 25th anniversary of the entry of the first woman into the General Military Academy as Officer of the Corps.

SKIRT SUIT: Hugo Boss 'Keili' Jacket and the matching BOSS 'Meili' Skirt.
The separates have been worn on a few occasions since Letizia first sported the suit in March for the World Rare Disease Day ceremony.
TOP: Black high-neck knit sweater (unidentified).
SHOES: Steve Madden 'Plaza' mules.

I love this Hugo Boss suit and am glad to see Letizia making good use of it. My one difficulty this time is how severe the black high-neck looks against Letizia's paler make-up, it seems to drain colour from her face. It could just be a hazard of the photography as otherwise I'd say the outfit was spot on. The plastic panel mules are a welcome subversive touch to a conservative outfit.
