For her first public engagement of the week, the Queen of Spain presented two children/youth literature awards, “El Barco de Vapor” and “Gran Angular”.
The annual awards in Madrid are organised by the SM Foundation whose goal is to promote youth-focused books and reading.
Queen Letizia opted for a fashion-forward ensemble, pairing a youthful white off-the-shoulder blouse with classic black wide-leg trousers.
The top has been identified as the Hugo Boss 'Bagiana' Stretch Cotton Carmen Blouse (US$215). It is currently available in white at Saks Fifth Ave or in turquoise blue at Hugo Boss USA.

The Bardot-style blouse has a signature elasticized off-the-shoulder neckline. The top features long-sleeves with button barrel cuffs. Made from stretch cotton, the top is finished with a concealed back zip.

Letizia offset the white blouse with her black Uterque straight cut trousers with bow detail.
She opted for metallic accessories, combining her silver croc flap clutch with a new pair of strappy sandals from her go-to Spanish shoemaker, Magrit.
The sparkly sandals are the 'Hera' style (€390) featuring crossed straps made of silver metallic leather. The 11cm platform heels are finished with a side buckle.
