I'm afraid I thought this Dominguez dress takes shapeless and cloudless to new levels when I first saw it. I'd thought it had been tied unevenly at the front and am surprised by the stock picture showing the crooked hemline to be intentional. To my mind it only makes the dress look yet more drab. But Letizia's shoe game remains mercifully strong, the Herrara slingbacks are sensational!

Those kind of hemlines are on trend this summer, at least in Spain..

I think they are on trend in a lot of places! But they can be hard to carry off.

Adolfo Domínguez is a bit matronly, young people don't dress his designs..

I bet she had to read it quite often that she should dress in sack cloth and now she did it. Bravo! Could be the new uniform for the femail royals.

it's a very normal fabric in Spain in the summer, in the Mediterranean part they have almost 40C and humidity.., The Baroness Thyssen owns the same dress, she is older though..

It's a very Ibiza design, the Spanish aristocracy dresses like that with alpargatas..

I have to agree with Bertie on this one. The dress is just dull, boring and shapeless. It's also a very drab & lifeless colour. The frayed edges and uneven hemline don't help. It looks like the kind of dress you would wear around the house just to be comfortable in the hot weather. I love the slingback shoes though.

Madrid is very hot, we might reach even 37-38C degrees and it's a city... However this year has been a bit less warm.... Knock on wood!!😉

It's like Letizia trying to do boho when we're used to seeing her smart, chic and sleek :)

In fact, the "boho" is Letizia, the smart is the Queen....

A very appropriate dress in Spain in the morning, moving is prettier, very feminine and for all ages.

I think the queen is supporting Adolfo Dominguez because the company is in trouble. She has worn several items of Dominguez lately paying respect for the company. I hope her support is not coming too late though.

Lovely, light, summery dress worn with gorgeous accessories. I like how the dress is a neutral colour but the texture of the fabric makes it interesting. It would look amazing in motion.
