This evening, President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama hosted a reception for the Heads of State and government leaders participating in the 71st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
After a run of light and white floral ensembles, Queen Letizia was back in black this evening - her colour of choice for night-time events. She wore a Felipe Varela fit-and-flare dress; a repeat from the Prince of Asturias Awards in 2010. The simple silhouette of the frock is enhanced with fine embroidered lace and black beads.
Here's a closer look at the detail of the dress from 2010.
On her feet was the bespoke version of the Magrit 'Vanessa' peep toe heel which she debuted in May 2015.
Unfortunately there are no hi-res photo of Letizia's earrings, but they appear to be the cascading diamond earrings she debuted on Day 1 of the Prince of Asturias Awards in 2014.

Queen Letizia looked stunning in this dress, its one of my favourite "asturia" dresses.. Letizia also wore the dress during a dinner in London in November 2011.

Hello again, on the website of the royal house you can find a high quality pic of the dinner. I tryed to identify the earrings, im not sure but i thinks she wears the diamond earrings she wore the first time at the princess of asturias concert 2014, and the second dinner with the peruvian president couple in july 2015, later again in april 2016..

Casa Real posted a better version of the pic and after zooming in you can see she's wearing the diamond earrings she debuted for the Prince of Asturias Awards Concert 2014 and repeated last year for the farewell reception at El Pardo by occasion of the state visit of the peruvian president.
