Infanta Sofia farewells her parents before travelling to UK to commence studies at UWC Atlantic College

Infanta Sofia embarked on a new chapter as she bade farewell to her parents, the King and Queen of Spain, at their residence in Zarzuela Place on Tuesday, commencing her studies at UWC Atlantic College in Wales. The 16-year-old royal will follow in the footsteps of her older sister, Princess Leonor, who graduated from the school in May 2023.

The family looked cheerful, as Sofia petted the family dog before she departed for the airport.

These are my absolute favorite pictures of the Spanish Royal Family! They all look so happy, so relaxed. Such wonderful parents and lovely daughter, you can feel you are part of their happy moment.

Both ladies look fabulous in their casual attire. Letizia's blazer is so well crafted it's hard to believe the fabric is denim. It doesn't appear to be lined which is strange considering the price tag. All quality blazers should be lined IMHO. Unless a lining would make it too heavy. Now that I think of it, my denim blazers are not lined.
Nonetheless it looks great paired with the white separates including the comfortable looking sneakers.

This lovely HB jacket works in very well with the white top and jeans, love the sneakers. The Queen looks great in casual wear.
