The King and Queen of Spain hosted a lunch at the Royal Palace of Madrid for the President of Ecuador, Mr. Lenin Moreno and his wife to mark their official visit to Spain.
This was Queen Letizia's second engagement of the day. Earlier that morning she chaired a meeting with the the Board of Trustees of the Foundation for Help against Drug Addiction (FAD) and presented the Prize for "Magistral Action 2017".
Her Majesty had no time to change for this afternoon's luncheon, and revived a Felipe Varela favorite for the back to back engagements.
The white wool crepe dress features a black and grey floral motif, buttoned front, banded waist and is finished with a Peter Pan collar.
Today, Her Majesty styled it with the her Nina Ricci 'Arc' clutch and black LODI patent leather pumps.
She arrived wearing her black Carolina Herrera Belted A-line Coat.
Queen Letizia finished the look with her Australian pearl and diamond earrings.

This outfit is just too busy for me. There are lots of flowers and buttons plus a belt which makes her look shorter. How does Letizia walk in those killer heels?. She never wears anything under 4 inches. They are really destructive for your feet, legs and back!

I adore this dress, it is one of my favourites! So feminine... However, in my opinion, it looks better with neutral accessoires than with black...
