King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia traveled to the Kingdom of Morocco for a two day state visit.
This is their second official visit to Morocco as the King and Queen of Spain. You may recall they visited in 2014 shortly after Felipe ascended the throne.
On arrival, Their Majesties received an official welcome by the King of Morocco, Mohamed VI at the Royal Palace of Rabat (Dar al-Makhzen).
Queen Letizia opted to repeat the grey shawl collar dress she debuted in December at an art exhibition opening. The brand/designer of the pieces remains unknown.
Today she teamed it with her custom black Magrit leather pumps and Hugo Boss laser-cut clutch.
Diamond cascade earrings added sparkle to the lady-like ensemble.

A wise choice to have a repeat during their visit to Morocco, I much prefer the matching fabric belt as opposed to the skinny leather belt worn last time. I love repeats but I like to see them reworked creatively, so events are easily distinguishable. Deep burgundy accessories would have worked well here and lifted the look, as much as I adore these earrings I think a simple diamond or pearl stud may have worked better. This isn't my favourite day dress but it is entirely appropriate and classic for the event. Sadly, I don't think this particular hairstyle travelled well but the Queen's hair looks a million times better than mine even on my best day!

I like this dress a lot. It's well tailored, has simple clean lines and is very sophisticated. The shawl collar is a favorite of mine. I wonder, though, why Letizia never wears a necklace. The neckline of this dress is ideal for one.

She is beautiful as always. Thanks for showing the older pic. I really like her hair lighter! Maybe she'll go back to that one day.

I love this elegant dress, subdued and totally classy. The shawl collar is so pretty and I love the way the fabric folds down into the skirt without any visible fastenings -- very minimal. The full skirt looks very well on Letizia and the length is good on her too, it has a vintage vibe without going overboard. The textured clutch is a savvy way to break up the monochrome and the pretty drop earrings add their own refreshing touch of femininity to a very businesslike outfit.

The belt of the same fabric adds an elegant finishing touch to the dress that the thin belt did not. The fit and flare effect and her excellent carriage elevate the look to majestic. Based on how she struggled to corral the headscarf the next day, the hairdo was probably blown around by the wind. Nicely done though..

Pretty! But I agree that Burgundy accessories would've been even better. There is something dull about grey and black.

I really like this dress the first time she wore it, and I still like it a lot. Very classy.
