King and Queen of Spain depart for Sweden

The King and Queen of Spain, at the invitation of Carl XVI Gustaf, King of Sweden, undertake a State Visit to Sweden from the 23rd-25th November which serves to highlight and reinforce the ties and bilateral relations between both countries.

King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain depart for Sweden on 23rd November 2021

At the State Pavilion of Adolfo Suárez Madrid - Barajas Airport, Their Majesties received Honours before embarking on their State Visit to Sweden.

WHAT QUEEN LETIZIA WORE

COAT: Hugo Boss 'Catifa' coat in red (repeat).

TROUSERS: Hugo Boss 'Trimie' Wide Leg Crop Trousers (repeat).

BOOTS: NEW! Black leather platform boots (unidentified).

Cropped pants are not flattering on anyone, even those with a figure as lovely as Letizia's.

So glad the blog is back up and running thank you. Elizabeth I hope you are well, you have been greatly missed!
I don't mind these cropped trousers, but not with this beautiful red coat. Its so very chic, love the splash of colour. The length is a bother for me, the trousers v the jacket. Regardless the Queen looks lovely.

You're back!! So glad to see you, Happy New Year, you have been missed!

The Hugo Boss Catifa coat looks great and very stylish with its broad lapels, but I find it out of synch with the crop pants. I feel they bring in extra distracting lines on top of those created by the dramatic coat lapels and tie, and I'd prefer a full length leg.

Naturally, Letizia carries it all off as smoothly as ever with her new boots, where I see she is sticking with another platform sole.

Happy to see your return, Elizabeth. In this red/black combo, I love the coat and dislike the pants. A slim, black, non cropped pant would have looked so much better.
