Following National Day celebrations in Madrid earlier today, King Felipe and Queen Letizia traveled to Mallorca to see first hand the recovery effort in the aftermath of the deadly floods in the town of Sant Llorenç des Cardassar.

Queen Letizia was aptly dressed in a dark pant suit, charcoal sweater and brogues. Given the nature of the visit I will not go into further outfit details.

A serious suit for a serious occasion, plus smooth updo, no fashionably messy strands here. The brogues are stupendous, amazed tiny Letizia can rock such chunky footwear, the trouser leg width must have been judged to perfection to do it.

The same updo she wore in the morning for the Fiesta Nacional. They set off for Mallorca in the afternoon by helicopter.
