This event will kick-start a series of activities to showcase the institution's accomplishments over its 200 year history, and highlight the cultural and scientific outreach efforts of the institution.

What a beautiful knit dress on Letizia. My only quibble is the belt that breaks the pattern in half. Usually, I like a belt to emphasize the waist, but not this time. The jasmine earring are perfect with the outfit as are the purse and shoes.

I still feel the same about this Galcon Studio Floral Intarsia Knit Dress in that I dislike seeing a belt interrupt the bold flower print. It feels like an odd mix-up, the dress needs to be tailored closer to Letizia's shape to avoid the extra accessory if it's too loose, which it looks to be on the model. Perhaps the addition is an attempt to smarten up what might be a casual dress otherwise.

The Mauska with its dramatic semi-circle raised pattern is a nice echo of the floral print and the Herrera pumps complete the black accessories which add a touch of polish to the navy dress. The Herrera Falling Jasmine Earrings are a lovely touch, another charming reference to the lovely flower print. Altogether suitably sober for the Bicentennial of the Ateneo of Madrid.

This is a very pretty knit dress. As already mentioned the belt is problematic, cutting the flower pattern in half, not a good overall look. The black accessories work in well.

Pretty and elegant dress. Great earring pairing. I don't mind the belt over the pattern. I think it adds interest and texture.
