King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia visited the UK Embassy in Madrid this afternoon to sign the book of condolences on the occasion of the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

Their Majesties were greeted by Hugh Elliott, the UK Ambassador to Spain before moving inside to write their condolences.

This is a very pretty, but subtle dress, the Queen looks very elegant. The Fringe accents looks great, adding interest. A very appropriate look for the occasion.

Letizia's perennial elegance is the best tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth when she is signing the book of condolence. I admire how well Letizia can carry all-black which is the only appropriate response to such deeply sad news.

The slim Ricci dress, the wide belt, and smart Magrit stilettos are all tasteful and restrained. The elegant Armani bag is quietly demure and the hair tied back is the perfect polished touch, setting off the quiet sparkle of the triple hoop earrings.
