Today, King Felipe & Queen Letizia traveled to Girona for the IMPULSA Forum. The event kicked off with the presentation of the Princess of Girona Foundation awards. Their Majesties attended on behalf of her eldest daughter, Leonor. The 9 year old royal heir is now the honorary president of the Princess Girona Foundation, a position her father, Felipe VI once held. The name of the foundation was changed in December last year to reflect the title now held by Princess Leonor.
The IMPULSA Forum was launched in 2010 by the Prince of Girona Foundation and convenes annually to promote and encourage the youth of Spain in areas such as scientific research, artistic creativity, social solidarity and entrepreneurship. Felipe and Letizia have presented awards at every forum since its conception.
Queen Letizia donned a familiar look, wearing her Hugo Boss tuxedo. The tux consists of the BOSS 'Jawona' wool blend blazer (£450) paired with the BOSS 'Tawona' tuxedo-stripe pants (£270).
Completing her evening style were the Magrit bespoke 'Vanessa' heeled platform sandals and De Grisogono black diamond teardrop earrings.
