Today, their Majesties traveled to Toledo in central Spain to mark the commencement of the 2014/2015 academic year at the University of Castilla - La Mancha (UCLM).
King Felipe addressed an assembly and said that "throughout history, our universities have shown themselves capable of adapting to new environments and to overcome all sorts of challenges and difficulties" and noted its "essential contribution to building a better Spain".
Queen Letizia wore her Felipe Varela shutter pleat dress. The berry sheath dress debuted in February 2009, and it made headlines when she wore it a couple months later at a luncheon for the then French President Nicolas Sarkozy and his wife Carla Bruni.
Felipe Varela has adopted shutter pleats in his current collection. Here we see an example of a similar style from the Pre-Fall 2014 set.
Today, Letizia accessorized the dress with her Magrit blush patent slingback heels and matching envelope clutch.
She completed the outfit with her TOUS 'Dinah' pink opal earrings.
