The King and Queen of Spain attended the funeral in memory of the 21 fishermen of "Villa De Pitanxo" who died after their fishing trawler sank off the Canadian coast in the early morning of February 15.
The service was officiated by the Archbishop of Santiago, Julián Barrio, at the New Temple of Santa María do Porto in the Pontevedra town of Marín.
Following the service, Their Majesties comforted the relatives of the deceased and offered their sympathy.
Queen Letizia looked somber in her black Carolina Herrera Bow Sleeves Sheath Dress, which she paired with her 'Astrud' clutch, and Magrit 'Mila' pumps in black leather.

The soft-fitting black Herrera sheath is ideally suited to such a tragic memorial occasion, the lovely bows on the elegant three-quarter sleeves being the right touch of life-affirming. My sympathies to all those affected.

This was a very appropriate dress for this sad event, very tragic. Simple, subtle black dress with interest at the sleeves, very elegant. My sincere condolences to all those affected.
