This evening, King Felipe & Queen Letizia presided over the Princess of Girona Foundation awards. Their Majesties attended on behalf of her eldest daughter, Leonor. The 10 year old royal heir is now the honorary president of the Princess Girona Foundation, a position her father, Felipe VI once held. The name of the foundation was changed in December 2014 to reflect the title now held by Princess Leonor.
For tonight's ceremony, Queen Letizia sported one of her favourite little black dresses by Hugo Boss.
The Hugo Boss BOSS 'Dimaye' asymmetrical pencil dress has been a staple part of her evening wear collection since its debut in March 2014.
Felipe and Letizia have presented the awards since their conception in 2010. The awards recognize exceptional achievements made by the youth of Spain in areas such as scientific research, artistic creativity, social solidarity and entrepreneurship. Here's a look back at Letizia's past outfits for this occasion:
Queen Letizia accessorized with familiar pieces.
She carried her Tod's black satin clutch with jeweled toggle button closure, and on her feet were the Magrit 'Vanessa' sandals in black leather (bespoke).
Letizia finished the look with her diamond and white gold tear drop dangle earrings (reportedly by Yanes).
