The King and Queen of Spain continued video conferences at the Palace of Zarzuela.

Queen Letizia held a video conference with representatives of the Federación de Distribuidores Cinematográficos FEDICINE (Federation of Cinematographic Distributors). They informed Her Majesty that 2019 had the highest number of viewers in the last decade, and the upward trend was maintained for the first two months of 2020. As a result of the coronavirus pandemic, there has been a complete halt of the production and distribution of cinema. Moving forward one of the main concerns is that public confidence will take a while to return and will be challenging for distributors and producers risking their films. The representatives stressed that despite losses, companies are making a great effort to maintain employment and are dedicated to providing films and investing in advertising and promotion.

Their Majesties later held a video conference with Foro de Marcas Renombradas Españolas (Forum of Renowned Spanish Brands). Mulitple conversations included prominent honorary ambassadors of the Spain Brand from the fields of science, culture, and sport; Valentín Fuster, María Blasco, Pedro L. Alonso, Antonio Banderas, Edurne Pasabán, Isabel Coixet, Pau Gasol, Rafael Nadal, and Fernando Alonso. Those involved shared how the pandemic has affected their respective area and stressed the importance of a collective plan to help unite efforts across companies, administrations, and public institutions to overcome the post-pandemic impact on Spain economically and socially while strengthening international confidence in Spain.
