Queen Letizia channeled vintage glamour in her petrol blue tea dress by Italian luxury brand Bottega Veneta, first worn in March last year.

The dress looks so much better on the model, which I can not understand. Letizia is so very beautiful, I don't see how the dress can look so plain. Perhaps in photos the details are lost.

Yes the detail is lost. When you look at the previous time she has worn the dress, the pictures is so much better. Again the lightning issue.

In the most recent wearing, above, you cannot even see the "sunburst" detail on the bodice, which adds so much

I think this dress looks better the second time round, I just wish she had mixed the look up more. I know the shoes and bag are different but the overall look is very much the same. Maybe navy accessories to match the embroidery in the dress, hair up and the diamond teardrop earrings (worn to welcome the President and First Lady of Colomba 14/05/18) could be possible alternatives. Despite my mixing and matching the Queen looks really lovely!!

This looks like a dress that might have seemed dour on anyone but Letizia, the Bottega Veneta channels vintage all right, to the point of adding a certain medieval heaviness. But the styling saves it with the pretty sunray bodice pleats and floral embellishments. Dark accessories were probably a risk with an already subdued outfit, bit they look well enough. That Boss handbag is to die for.

Flasher are so strong that we can't see the details on the dress, which is really a shame. Her bag is amazing and I like her hair here.
