A very simple ensemble which is elevated with excellent fit, the clothing is perfectly pressed and quality leather accessories. The crisp shirt looks breezy against the grey check summer trousers. In this instance I like the untucked look, it's relaxed but care has been taken. The shirt hits the upper thigh in just the right spot to not drown the legs, it is brilliant white and there are no creases. I'm a huge fan of cropped trousers, the light weight fabric and turn ups work well with the clean trainers and appear youthful. It's great to see a bag from Paco Rabanne (which I think is part of the Puig group) the iconic interlocking discs around the frame of the purse and silver chain strap are interesting details to an otherwise plain bag. Letizia's healthy looking hair and makeup add further polish to the look.

Yes, you are right, Paco Rabanne belongs to the Puig group.
Francisco Rabaneda (Paco Rabanne as a brand) is a Basque designer..85 years old alrwady, .his mum was Balenciaga's sewing workshop boss.

Hi Wendy, thank you for sharing this information, it sounds like an inspiring upbringing for a child that would become a legendary fashion designer/brand. I'm imagining that he often toured the Balenciaga sewing room with his mum and fell in love with the craft. Or perhaps she brought home sewing to finish of an evening and he saw fabric become stunning Balenciaga creations. In the future I would like to see the Queen showcase something from Dries Van Noten too, I think they are also part of the Puig group.

Letizia's outfit looks comfortable & casual. But that is one expensive bag at $560.00 considering it is quite small. The real standout for me is Leonor's dress. It's really lovely with the cape like sleeves and white embroidery.

Leonor's dress is fun and original, and I notice all three ladies are sporting white trainers!

Love how QL glows with the light from the white shirt bouncing off in bright sun light. She looks naturally beautiful, relaxed and happy spending time with family.

Another brilliantly coordinated family group which manages to preserve the individuality of each wearer without looking too uniform. Letizia is having fun with monochrome again, showing how versatile she can be with it, the loose blouse looks comfy and summery and I'm smitten by the Prince of Wales crops. The flat front is so neat and for myself I often find that style with a fly front like this more flattering to the tummy than the curse of bulky pleats coming from a tight waistband. And they're only from Mango and not high-end! The trainers are a fun casual touch and yet Letizia preserves smart elegance in her nifty choice of Paco Rabanne body bag, which is clearly where the savings on the pants could have been invested!
