The Queen of Spain started the working week at an award ceremony. Her Majesty presented the second edition of the 'International Friendship Awards' with a ceremony held at the IESE Business School in Madrid.
The Awards aim to acknowledge the achievements and contributions of entrepreneurs to social progress, and to promote entrepreneurial spirit across the world.
Queen Letizia donned a familiar look, repeating the black knit top and Roberto Verino jacquard skirt she recently wore to the delivery of the Tomás Francisco Prieto Prize in February.
She arrived wearing her Hugo Boss 'Capina' cape first seen during a visit to Germany in October 2015.
Letizia carried her Nina Ricci 'Arc' clutch, and on her feet she wore her black LODI patent leather straight-vamp pumps.
She finished the outfit with her gorgeous Yanes diamond and citrine drop earrings.

I love the cape! There is something so historical about them because women wore them throughout the ages. They also keep you warm but still allow freedom of movement.

Yes, the cape is gorgeous - elegant and cosy at the same time!

Very elegant. Love the cape and the bag. Nice to see her wearing spanish designers. I'm not familiar with spanish designers work; it's nice to see some new, original ideas.

I love this outfit, just perfection from Letizia. That's such a neat black top with its high neck and elbow length sleeves, just that bit of extra length adds a quiet sophistication. The skirt is brilliant, an gorgeous animal print toned down by the monochrome colouring. And the cape just tops the whole thing off wonderfully. A truly successful repeat in my view
