The proportions on these wide-legged crops are so nicely judged they make a virtue of a potentially ugly garment. It's a style which can sit so awkwardly on many, but with Letizia it becomes the epitome of elegance and fashionable chic, the length showcasing her ankles without the leg width ballooning out above.

The high grown-on waist-band helps lengthen the line where crops can sometimes just look chunky, and the match with that polka dot blouse is inspired and feminine. I hadn't noticed before that the blouse sleeves have a cute wrist ruffle. I'm glad it's not too pronounced or it could have become an outfit-killing embellishment; this way it's contained and charming.

I like the touch of the buttons down side of the Hugo Boss crops, a nicely subdued contrast with the round button shape echoed in the spotted blouse. A wonderful re-wear all round in my book.

The wrist rufle is very "andaluz", ( south Spain) as the "lunares" (polka dots), she premiered this blouse in Sevilla, last year, I think.

Thanks for these regional style details Wendy! She first wore the blouse in Feb 2018 in Málaga: http://www.queenletiziastyle.com/blog/queen-letizia-combines-a-professional-look-with-playful-polka-dots-at-an-arts-awards-ceremony-in-malaga

This is a very polished, professional and eye catching look for Queen Letizia. She doesn't look out of place in the group photo yet she retains a regal air with how the complete outfit gives the effect of effortless chic. The spots and the buttons on the trousers pull the look together. It is not easy to wear these cropped trousers and look as smart as Queen Letizia does. Well done!

This is a excellent put together outfit. Love the navy. The blouse is beautiful. She always looks so well groomed and smart.

I have always loved these trousers and the polka dot blouse highlights the silver discs on the side seams. I was never a fan of the pink quilted Uterque bag (worn last time) so I'm happy to see the outfit accessorised with the Loewe clutch which looks rather chic, I prefer this outfit consisting of just two colours. It's great to see another pair of navy suede shoes as the gorgeous Nina Ricci's get a lot of wear. The butterfly earrings are quite twee I'm surprised I like them, perhaps because they are so sparkly and quite simple from afar. Hair and makeup are perfect, natural and glossy.

Elizabeth, are the shoes new? I remember this style in other colours unless in navy. Thanks!!
She has worn those pants with white shirts and the blouse with other trousers...so many repeats...

Wendy, the shoes are a repeat. She first wore them at this year's Pascua Militar: http://www.queenletiziastyle.com/blog/queen-letizia-debuts-joyas-de-pasar-brooch-at-pascua-militar-parade
