The Queen of Spain was in Barcelona on Wednesday to attend events related to Mental Health and Intellectual Disabilities at Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu.

Queen Letizia of Spain was in Barcelona on 23rd November 2022 to attend events related to Mental Health and Intellectual Disabilities at Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu.

She presided over the session on mental health and the world of work on the opening day of the "20th anniversary of the Local Network of Technical Labour Offices of the Diputació de Barcelona".

Subsequently, Queen Letizia visited the facilities of the Specialized Hospitalization Unit for people with Intellectual Disabilities of the Parc Sanitari, related to Mental Health. Highlights from today's outing is available on YouTube.

The dark red colour of this outfit is great. I love the 4 small buttons on the cuffs of the pullover which make it extraordinary. But as for the leather pants, I think they are more appropriate for a casual event rather than a serious official function. They give off a 'party' or 'disco' vibe.

Cropped red leather pants like these seem to me to come under the heading of 'smokin'!' and that's how I'd sum up Letizia's outfit for her engagement on mental health. I think she must have woken up anyone meeting her with the bright red Hugo Boss separates, the lovely close-fit crew neck with button cuffs and the sensational red leather tapered-leg pants with edgy seaming. This is almost borderline disco kit, but Letizia carries it with as much queenly grace as ever, even down to the shiny Lodi bordeaux patent stilettos. Accessories of black belt and disc drop earrings both tie in well for a sensational outfit.

Sorry, but the "disco" thing must be in other countries, here people go to discos almost naked, in very short dresses and decolletages, if you go like that, you can come across a grandmother.

Hi Bertie: That was the very word that described this leather look. someone suggested a cropped jacket a a finishing touch. She has two ethnic print jackets that would have put this over the top without being too dressy. All in all, a crisp uncluttered look that keeps the attention on the 'show and tell' aspect of the visit.

I love this outfit, the Queen has the flair to wear this successfully and she does. I am not normally a fan of leather pants, but this looks divine. I like the dark red HB sweater, the interesting features of the buttons on the cuffs adding interest. The black belt was a good choice. Love the Lodi pumps, gorgeous color.
