Queen Letizia, Honorary President of UNICEF Spain presented her mother-in-law, Queen Sofia with the "Joaquín Ruiz-Giménez 2015" prize. The award recognizes her longstanding commitment and work with UNICEF in protecting the rights of vulnerable children, which spans over four decades.
It is obvious the Spanish queens have a genuine fondness for each other.
In her speech, Queen Letizia made it apparent that she was proud and honored to present this award to her dear mother-in-law for a lifetime of dedication to children's welfare.
Today, Letizia opted for a trusty ensemble she debuted exactly a year ago at the opening of the "El Greco and modern painting" exhibition at Prado Museum. This ultra-feminine outfit has become one of her signature styles:
To refresh your memories, the dress is the Hugo Boss 'Dinoma' sheath, and the 'rose fantasy' floral colourway is from the 2014 spring/summer collection.
Letizia styled the dress in much the same way she has in the past, with her Magrit blush patent clutch and Yanes flower blossom stud earrings.
The only significant difference with today's outfit were the shoes. Letizia paired the dress with her new dusty pink Magrit 'Vanessa' sandals which she premiered last Friday.
