The Queen of Spain chaired a meeting today and delivered the "Queen Letizia Awards 2016 and 2017" of the Royal Board on Disability.
Her Majesty is the honorary president of the organization, whose primary mission is to promote the prevention of impairments, rehabilitation and social integration of people with disabilities. Today the Queen welcomed the winners to the Royal Palace of El Pardo.
For the occasion, Queen Letizia borrowed a look from this year's National Day ceremony.
The blue-grey Felipe Varela outfit features a belted woollen jacket and a matching box-pleated skirt detailed with a hand-embroidered floral motif on the front and back.
Queen Letizia complemented the set with her ocean blue Felipe Varela leather clutch adorned with Swarovski crystals, and her midnight blue Magrit patent leather pumps.
Completing the look were her Bvlgari diamond and aquamarine white gold hoop earrings.

A slight underwhelm with this outfit, but only because Letizia has been so on-form of late I suspect. It's serious outfit for a serious occasion but the grey is a tad uniform and the full skirt heavier by being below the knee. Not a big fan of the embroidery, seems a bit out of place on such a sober ensemble.
