Queen Letizia brings back Cherubina 'Suzie' Dress for Cervantes Institute meeting

The King and Queen of Spain attended the annual meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Cervantes Institute, which was followed by a lunch at the Royal Palace of Aranjuez, Madrid.

Their Majesties also awarded the 'Ñ 2022' prize, an honorary distinction to recognize individuals or legal entities who have promoted the Spanish language around the world. This year's recipient was Gabriele Morelli, an Italian Hispanic philologist and professor at the University of Bergamo.

This is a beautiful, feminine dress with the flounce detail on the skirt adding interest. The red colour looks great with the nude slingbacks.

Love this dress, especially the way It drapes and folds. I don't think the nude patent shoes do anything for the dress. Either black or navy would have complimented better.

Oh, I am so glad to see the Queen wear this beautiful red dress again, I love it. The drape detail of the bodice and flounce of the skirt adds to the feminine vibes, very interesting features. The diamond and ruby earrings that the Queen wore, beautiful. Love the choice of nude color shoes, perfect.

The Cherubina Suzie dress continues to work its magic for official occasions and remains a great pleasure to see. It's a wraparound dress that works well thanks to being secured by a reasonably broad waistband which prevents the various elements from wandering out of shape. Instead the top is secured with an attractive non-slip V-neck and the skirt has a charming steady waterfall fold. The waistband itself has its own presence underlined by a distinctive self-button.

The bright red of the dress works well with the nude Herrera slingbacks. I love seeing Letizia's hair in a shorter, less cluttered length, especially when we get to see the delicious new Gold & Roses needle earrings, a very happy way to spend E1600
