The cocktail reception was modest compared to last night's stately banquet, but Queen Letizia still dazzled in her Nina Ricci star cluster dress.
This evening the Peruvian President and his wife reciprocated last night's gala dinner by hosting a reception at the Royal Palace of El Pardo.
The cocktail reception was modest compared to last night's stately banquet, but Queen Letizia still dazzled in her Nina Ricci star cluster dress.
You may recall she first wore the cosmic-inspired piece in May 2017 at a dinner marking the 60th anniversary of the Europa Press Agency.
Tonight, Her Majesty opted to add the belt as seen on the runway of the designer's Ready-to-Wear Fall/Winter 2017/18 collection.
Letizia again chose to team it with her Magrit 'Hera' silver sandals and Chanel 'Comète' Earrings.

What a week of great outfits! I really enjoy seeing the Queen in Nina Ricci and this dress is no exception. The belt is a welcome addition to it's previous wear and completes the look. I've mentioned before that I don't love these sandals, I wish she had a more delicate pair. First Lady Maribel Diaz Cabello and Princess Alessandra of Hanover were also very well attired at this event.

This is a beautiful dress, it is soft and a beautiful colour. With or without the belt equally pretty. Love the shoes gorgeous.

I'm not really sure what to say about this dress. It certainly is unique and a good choice for an evening event. I like the hemline but those embellishments must make it very uncomfortable to sit down.

Following on from two knock-out outfits, I find it quite challenging to adjust my critical faculties to such a relatively demure offering from Letizia. The star cluster embellishments are gorgeous, maybe just a bit lost on a pastel tone. She has done well to add pizzazz via the amazing sparkly Magrit sandals and her full dark wavy hair worn loose. And star stud Chanel earrings are a no-brainer, it’s a look of polished perfection from Letizia again.Thank you so much for these wonderful posts!

Queen Letizia looks every inch the regal star in this stellar dove grey dress. I like the sandals - they give the dress an 'evening' feel. In some pictures the dress appears as a light cornflower blue.

This dress looks lovelier in the 2017 and runway photos, which makes me think that the camera flash in these latest photos has had the effect of diminishing the sparkle and dusky night sky colour of the dress. Lovely how Letizia wore her starry earrings!

I love the dress. With a belt. And, without a belt.

Very pretty. Nicer even with the loose hair and belt. No to the shoes for me, as usual.
