Queen Letizia brings back evergreen Carolina Herrera pantsuit for day of engagements

The King and Queen of Spain held two engagements on Tuesday, at Zarzuela Palace, Madrid. Their Majesties first engagement of the day was an audience with former World No.1, Spanish of Venezuelan origin, professional tennis player Garbine Muguruza Blanco, to mark her victory in the 'AKRON WTA Finals 2021' championship in Guadalajara (Mexico), where she defeated Anett Kontaveit of Estonia by 6-3 and 7-5.

Their Majesties second engagement of the day was the 28th meeting of the Delegate Commission of the Princess of Girona Foundation (FPdGi). The activity report for 2021, the action plan for 2022 and the strategic plan that will be followed for the years 2022-2025, among other topics, were presented.

This is a fabulous pantsuit the fit and cut is perfect. This shade of evergreen is really becoming. I loved it the first time the Queen wore it, especially with the beautiful green silk blouse, that looked divine. Jackets this length are a favourite of mine and this one is no different. The pants are perfect. The custom teal shoes are such a wonderful shade. The HB pussy bow blouse looks fantastic. A very successful appearance.

This Carolina Herrera pantsuit is holding up well, and still shows some lovely clean lines with the single-breasted jacket and full length slim trousers. The colour is wonderful on Letizia and is nicely accessorised with the Hugo Boss tie blouse, mercifully left with a plain businesslike knot and not another pussy bow. The trusty gold hoops make a sensible addition, and the dressy Magrit pumps continue to work well.

This is a beautiful suit in style and fit. I did prefer it worn at a previous time with a lighter green blouse. The shoes are a good match.
