The Queen wore some gorgeous repeats over the past week: the Victoria Beckham leopard print set, the Carolina Herrera denim shirt dress and the stunning Nina Ricci star cluster knit. However, I was a little disappointed that the styling of all three outfits barely differed from previous wears. Fortunately, the Carolina Herrera floral dress (seen above) is an improvement on its 2017 outing with pretty pink accessories. The ultra-feminine silhouette and exuberant colour palette embody distinctive Herrera hallmarks. Crafted in silk-blend organza the floral motifs evoke images of lush flower beds. Herrera said that the Resort 2018 collection was partly inspired by the gardens on her Venezuelan property. The backdrop of glorious blue transports me under a cloudless sky, the dress captures a memory of a beloved summer’s day. Minor quibbles, the dress was originally a gown. I think it would appear more special if it was two inches longer in length. The bamboo hoops were an uninspired choice, but they at least emphasise the gold highlights in the embroidery.

This is one of the more expensive and spectacular dresses in Letizia's collection (over $3.000.00). It reminds me of the ASOS DESIGN white midi-dress worn in Nov. 2018 because the workmanship of the embroidery is exquisite. I like the addition of the sleeves which make the dress more suitable for this formal occasion. It really is a beautiful work of art.

This is a beautiful dress, it fits and falls so well. The most glorious colors incorporated. The color choice of accessories, I prefer this wear, the pink shoes and clutch is perfect. A different style of earrings, I think would have been nice, but that is my personal preference.

This is a very pretty, summery dress and I prefer it with the pink shoes, rather than the nude shoes worn the last time. My only issue with the dress, is that where the top is joined to the bottom, the print does not line up. The dress on the model has lined up the print better. To avoid this I would have had some sort of structured belt, or self tie belt to disguise the mismatch. I know that the print can't be totally aligned but on a high price garment a better attempt should be made.

This is nothing if not a feminine dress from Caroline Herrera, I think I might call it princessy, the subtlety of the floral print is glorious, sparing as it is on the bodice and grading to more concentrated towards the skirt hem.

I love seeing Letizia in a superbly fitted bodice like this, but I find the waistline seems to drift up a little on her which I find out of sync with a dirndl skirt. The effect is a shade juvenile on an otherwise superb garment, and one which, in the complexity of its detailing, is wonderfully in keeping with the baroque palatial interior of the engagement.

The bubblegum pink shoes and clutch from Magrit are perfect, and the gold huggie earrings tone in nicely.

I cannot get past the accessories. To me they clash with this luscious dress, not in terms of colour but in terms of gravitas. I don't know what I would prefer but perhaps a matte gold, maybe a deeper pink or red but not too bright, more muted and serious.
