The King and Queen of Spain delivered the National Culture Awards 2017 at the Prado National Museum in Madrid this evening.
The awards recognize individuals or institutions who contribute to the enrichment of the cultural heritage of Spain in areas such as Fine Arts, Cinema, and Literature.
Her Majesty stepped out this evening in her Intropia lurex details silk midi dress which she debuted last November during a State visit to Peru.
On her feet she wore her LODI burgundy suede ankle strap pumps.
She finished the dazzling look with her TOUS black diamond extra long string earrings.

This dress does nothing for her. That first pic makes it look like she has terrible posture. Slouched over. No.

I'm with you, Karen. The dress looks to me like something you might pick up in cotton from a stall at a street market.

The dress is matronly and it does not compliment her figure or beautiful face. It needs to be permanently edited from her wardrobe

I'm happy to see Letizia wear this dress once again. I love everything about this beautiful dress. I noticed she changed the shoes - burgundy pumps were worn the last time. These strapped sandals look good too. I heard there is a state visit next week to Argentina. I'm looking forward to some more great outfits.

I'm afraid that I don't like this dress, sadly it hasn't grown on me since it's first wear. I love that the Queen is so experimental and is constantly surprising us! Formality permitting, I wonder if a silver sandal and earrings would have helped lift the look and echo the shimmer in the fabric... It's great to see the King and Queen at a joint engagement!

What a stunning dress! The pattern is so rich and the fabric is so delicate. I don't know who is the QL stilist but he/she is doing a great job finding all this surprising pieces of clothes. I will say only one thing more, I bought this dress the moment I saw it in november! 😊

I feel the dress is wearing Letizia. She seems overwhelmed by it and doesn't look comfortable. I love the shoes though.

This makes a great midi dress from Intropia with flattering soft fabric avoiding heaviness from the extra length. Sheer sleeves also help keep things on the lighter side for Letizia's petite frame. The colours look well on her and earth tones have a a touch of ethnic in keeping with event on cultural heritage. I like the deep V-neck and inset shaped band-belt, again another gentle ethnic/pastoral vibe. Love those shoes and the long earrings are excellent choice having wisely left the throat bare which might have led to overload.
