I like the skirt better this time with the black blouse and accessories.

Is the black bow belt Prada?

That's a great suggestion Maree but I'm not confident it is by Prada because I notice subtle differences between Letizia's belt and the Prada one. The Prada belt has a buckle on the back but I can't see one on Letizia's belt. Here a pics to make the comparison:

This is a terrific outfit, very chic. Love the satin blouse. Prefer the skirt this time around, the bow belt looks great. Choice of accessories are the perfect finish, beautiful

Polished look for QL. My only suggestion would be to wear a necklace with a bit of bling to brighten up the blouse b/c the blouse though is polished. It is very very dark.

The last time Letizia wore this skirt she paired it with a white blouse and tan shoes. The black blouse and accessories this time around really accent the skirt well and make it stand out more. The blouse has some interesting detailing on the sleeves and neckline. And the satin fabric add another element that keep it from being boring. Asymmetrical hemlines aren't popular with everyone but I think they look modern and contemporary.

It is because of modern outfits like this that I love the Queen's style.  I would never have imagined that the Massimo Dutti check skirt (which I don't like) could look so chic combined with the elegant blouse and sophisticated accessories. The folds of fabric on the sleeves add an interesting line to the silhouette, along with the sumptuous gathers at the shoulders and streamlined pumps which provide polish to the smart look. As I have said many times before I prefer a handbag to a clutch for business wear, not only do I find them more stylish, but the wearer looks like they have come prepared with notes etc (I appreciate that the relevant paperwork is most likely read before the event). In general I don't like twee bows, but the detail on the belt is so subtle that the minimal design successfully pulls the whole ensemble together. Minor quibble, I wish she had pinned the blouse at the chest rather than the vest being visible. Overall this is a great look! However, I would have preferred that the blouse, shoes and handbag had been worn with a quality, wool, A-line skirt and a crocodile effect, patent, leather belt, with the fastening at the back.

I'm with you on a dislike for twee bows, and thought I was going to reel back from this one at first, but on second glance I agree that it is neatly done, keeping well within the width of the leather, and the addition of a belt really helps define the skirt waist which is a touch nondescript left bare. I agree that this is one instance of a very successful mix of high street with high-end.

As we have come to expect, Letizia looks professional and polished. This wearing of the skirt, with the black blouse and black accessories, is better than the wearing in January. I really like how the pattern of the skirt is diagonal on the sides. My only quibble is with the hemline. While I enjoy a pointed/handkerchief hem on some outfits, I think it needs to be with lighter fabric, aiming for a fun look. This skirt is made of wool and is tailored and so the hemline with the points seems rather frivolous.

Another sleek outfit from the ever-savvy Letizia and a nice re-working of the Dutti check skirt. I'm not a big fan of handkerchief hems as I think they all too easily simply look like a mess, but this one is relatively restrained with only a muted flare and makes a good working piece.

The Sandro silk blouse lifts the High Street skirt into another sphere altogether and I think is gorgeous. I love the way it's fashioned with the V-neck yielding two lines of band edging which move into wrap territory as they meet and cross at the skirt waist. It's a wonderful versatile garment, I hope we see it again soon, the open neck helps break otherwise unrelieved black which is very sober with the plaid skirt and black accessories harmonize without being funereal.
