During the closing session of the congress, King Felipe was presented with the World Peace & Liberty Award by the World Jurist Association (WJA).

Queen Letizia looked on proudly as he husband received the award for his unwavering commitment to the Rule of Law, his role as a leader in the defense of Democracy and Liberty at the international level and his contributions to the strengthening of the constitutional model in Spain.

The Spanish Queen looked elegant in her Carolina Herrera crochet-trimmed pleated silk-faille dress first worn during the State Visit to Peru in November.

The rest of the look was also familiar. Letizia carried her white Furla 'Metropolis' leather shoulder bag, and on her feet were a bespoke pair of Magrit black and white pointed toe pumps.

Letizia complemented the ultra-feminine style with her diamond and pearl drop earrings.

Love this dress; it looks so expensive also simultaneously fun and elegant. Accessories and make up are lovely too.

Given how recently Letizia wore this Herrera dress I'm embarrassed that I have no recollection of it. It's simply gorgeous, I can't believe how well it works given how dangerous I think the style is! A stiff gathered skirt like that can sit so badly and make the wearer look enormous, but the pleating and softness of the fabric appear to do Letizia no harm at all, she can sport what is almost a dirndl skirt and still look trim and not overwhelmed. Equally horizontal stripes are rarely a girl's best friend, but these are so slender they simply make for welcome contrast. Using those two-tone shoes was inspired, I can't believe what good use Letizia has had from a shoe style that could all too easily look out-of-place. This is not the first time she's been able to use them to good effect. Love those gorgeous earrings.

Elisabeth, the earings are not her usual ones.
These ones are different, with 7 diamonds not 5.
And the pearls also different.
I read that they are in the royal cofre many years ago. Do you know anything more about them?

This is an adorable dress! I love how these two are still affectionate with each other, and you can see the love in their eyes for each other.

Another repeat which I think looks far lovelier the second time round. A very considered choice to keep the focus on the importance of the event while still looking strikingly elegant. The length of this dress is just perfect and I favour these shoes over the Magrit illusion d'Orsay pumps worn previously. Hair, makeup, earrings and clutch make a very polished outfit.
