Tonight, the Colombian president and his wife reciprocated last night's gala dinner by hosting a reception at the Royal Palace of El Pardo, their official residence during their stay in Spain.
The reception was marked by a relaxed atmosphere compared to last night's stately banquet. Queen Letizia dressed according and wore her chic Felipe Varela black tuxedo dress.
The double-breasted dress was first worn by Letizia in October 2013 at the Prince of Asturias Awards in Oviedo.
Tonight, Letizia showcased some new accessories and added a hint of gold. She carried a black clutch with a gold centerpiece, and wore beautiful filigree gold cascading earrings.
One of my blog readers, "Heaven" has identified the clutch as the Nina Ricci 'Arc' clutch (US$1200). The Italian made bag has a black smooth-leather exterior with a polished goldtone logo-engraved metal band around body of bag and suede insets at sides.
It is no longer available in black leather but comes in a range of other colours and materials:
There are no high-resolution photos of the earrings but they could be the 'Tamara' style by Vanilo. This would be a good fit for the occasion given the jewellery house was founded by two Colombian sisters whose designers are inspired by their country's rich heritage and beauty.
On her feet were the LODI 'Sara' ombre patent pumps.
Queen Letizia opted to wear her hair in the infamous "fake-bob" style.
On Thursday, Queen Letizia will continue her busy schedule and preside over the official ceremony for the "World Rare Disease Day".
