Queen Letizia chairs UNICEF Spain meeting

As the Honorary President of UNICEF Spain, Queen Letizia chaired a working meeting with the organization's Board of Trustees at their Madrid headquarters on Friday.

During the meeting, Her Majesty was updated on UNICEF's emergency response following the devastating earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria on February 6. She was also presented with the key findings of the third edition of the Opinion Barometer of Children and Adolescents conducted by UNICEF Spain and the University of Seville.

The CH houndstooth blouse has always been one of my favorites. Letizia has a version in black that we rarely see but both are so striking and versatile. The red coat is distinctive with the wide collar & asymmetrical front but it really needs to be belted. The style is totally lost when left open.

This is such a cheerful working outfit for Letizia with the bright Hugo Boss Catifa wrap coat hanging so well over soft grey trousers. The Herrera Crosshatch Houndstooth pattern, also in red, makes an excellent contrast, and with its crew neck sits neatly under the generous collar of the coat.

I like mismatched accessories, the Menbur red clutch is so right with the coat and the new grey suede Magrit pumps very elegant under the Herrera cuffed trousers. Always happy to see the trusty Gold & Roses Double Dagger earrings back out earning their keep!

I love this ensemble. The red coat is gorgeous, red is definitely her color. The blouse is one of my favorites, I particularly love the neckline, very pretty and feminine. The grey pants are the perfect fit, love them. The shoes blend in well, I like the color of them. The red leather clutch is a welcome contrast to the shoes. The double dagger earrings are lovely to see again.
