On the final day of the State visit to Portugal, Queen Letizia premiered a new look from one of her favourite designer's, Carolina Herrera.
Her Majesty looked impeccable in a pearl grey Carolina Herrera coat and matching dress as she arrived with her husband King Felipe VI for a visit to the National Assembly at the Palácio de São Bento in Lisbon.
The set is from the designer's CH Carolina Herrera line and belongs to the Fall 2016 range. The double-wool coat features a cocoon silhouette which channels an elegant vintage vibe and is designed with a funnel neck and contrasting purple underside. I believe the coat may be reversible.
The matching dress is sleeveless and comes with an attached self-belt that ties at the front. The pieces are only available at flagship Carolina Herrera stores.
Queen Letizia coordinated the outfit with a tonal grey Hugo Boss flap suede clutch bag - a new addition to her closet.
On her feet she wore her Magrit 'Mila' snake-effect pumps.
Letizia added a touch a sparkle with her Bulgari 'Allegra' multi-jewelled earrings. The 3cm long pendant earrings are set in 18kt white gold and feature a variant of stones - peridot, rhodolite garnet, citrine quartz, blue topaz and pavé diamonds.
She originally wore the earrings with her hunter green Felipe Varela ensemble for the 2013 Prince of Asturias Awards. Coincidently she wore the same outfit to last night's official dinner with the Prime Minister of Portugal but not the earrings, so it's interesting that the Bulgari earrings would appear today!
Queen Letizia set off her look with a youthful braided ponytail.
