The King and Queen of Spain began their second day in Oviedo at the Reconquista Hotel where they met with the 2017 Princess of Asturias Award laureates.
For this morning's event Her Majesty premiered a floaty floral dress by Carolina Herrera.
The dusty pink fit-and-flare dress features a semi-sheer silk organza overlay decorated with embroidered pink, red and green floral motifs. Below we see the same fabric on the Carolina Herrera Floral Embroidered Organza Gown from the designer's Resort 2018 collection.
This is the second piece Letizia has added to her closet from the collection. Last month she stepped out in a blue floral number for events in Palma de Mallorca.
Letizia complemented the rich red accents of the dress with her burgundy Uterque curved heel suede pumps.
Always a stickler for coordination, the Queen further married the pink and green colour scheme with her TOUS ruby and emerald earrings.
Letizia again wore the ring she debuted for a visit to the Segundo de Chomón Secondary School on Sep 27th. She also wore it last night for the Princess of Asturias Awards concert. The origin and significance of the piece remains a mystery. I suspect it may have been a birthday gift since she was first seen wearing it shortly after her 45th birthday.

So pretty. Love the shoes and earrings...love the ring too. Maybe one day we'll find out the mystery behind it.

She is just slaying it! Love the string of outfits she has worn since returning from summer break!

I can't get used to Letizia in floaty florals so I'm struggling a bit with this one. I like the fit much better than the previous Zara and the print is divine. I think it may just be not what I'm used to seeing her in and feels a bit juvenile. The ruby and emerald earrings are simple genius
