On the occasion of WCRD, the Spanish Cancer Association (AECC), of which Queen Letizia is the honorary president, held an international event at the Cancer Research UK headquarters in London. This event highlighted the importance of integrating diversity in research to achieve equity in access to the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

I thought this was a two piece outfit. The dress is pretty with a lovely floral print and interesting details on the sides of the sleeves. The high neckline and pleats together make it a bit matronly. The long version would work as an evening gown since the fabric has some sheen. I noticed this is one of Letizia's most expensive pieces. Maybe even the most expensive we have ever seen her wear. It is Armani after all.

I want to like this dress, given the extremely high price, but I can't. First of all it is made to look like two pieces, but why? It is a dress, not a skirt and top. I think the high neck and the ditzy floral print, with the ruffles down the sleeves make it look very old fashioned. The pleating is quite interesting but I don't care for the sheen on the fabric, which makes the sewn down pleats look like plastic. I would expect better from Armani.

I too thought this outfit was a two piece ensemble. It's very feminine and pretty. I love the floral print and fabric. Interesting features, the neckline and along the sleeves, hard to see. The longer version is divine. Love the Navy accessories.
