The Queen of Spain delivered the National Flag to the Special Naval War Force in Cartagena on Tuesday.

During the ceremony, Her Majesty received the Ordinance Honors and reviewed the troops. Once the National Flag was blessed by the Chaplain, the Queen handed it over to the Colonel-Director.

During the event, Queen Letizia delivered a few words.

Long, white, lacey dresses look too much like wedding gowns. But I like the blue shoes, handbags and earrings which added some contrast.

Such a pretty dress that is reasonably priced, but it needs a thicker lining or a slip. It becomes too transparent in the sunlight. I love guipure lace and the blue accessories add a nice touch. Fortunately the Order of Charles III is small and also blue. The clutch bag is quite bulky looking and should be much more streamlined.

Actually ,transparent dresses and shirts are on trend in Spain, nobody wears lining in Murcia, whrere the temperature is 35C degress already and humid 85 %. We will have about 39 C this weekend.

The bargain-price Sfera dress looks wonderful on Letizia, its classic white A-line flattering Letizia's figure. The guipure style lace makes a welcome change from the many close-fit lace sheath dresses we saw on royal ladies a few years ago.

I like the fun Letizia appears to have had matching accessories to the Charles III Commander's dame bow. The pale blue Magrit pumps and smart clutch add a quirky but fresh touch. The ensemble is wonderfully finished off by the glorious Bulgari aquamarine drop earrings, showcased by a smart updo.

I don't normally like lace dresses, but this one is the exception. The Queen looks lovely, it fits beautifully. I would never have thought of blue accessories, but this looks divine. The gorgeous Bulgari aquamarine drop earrings are a stunning pair of earrings, especially when the removeable blue aqua drop is added, such a beautiful shade of blue. I love these earrings. A very pretty feminine outfit.
