The 50th anniversary commemorates the natural and cultural heritage that the Doñana National Park brings to the Andalusian and national network of protected areas.
Following this, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia visited the Virgen del Rocío located in the Parroquia de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción (Parish of Our Lady of the Assumption) in Almonte.  The occasion falls on the Mariano del Rocío Jubilee Year.

The marsh is a place of passage, breeding, and wintering for thousands of European and African birds. Seriously endangered species such as the Iberian imperial eagle and Liberian lynx reside there.
The King and Queen closed their day in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Cádiz. Received by the mayor Víctor Mora they unveiled a plaque commemorating the V Centenary of the First Circumnavigation of the World led by Magellan and concluded by Elcano.
They went on to a Visitor Center, Fábrica de Hielo where they saw a replica of the Victoria - the first ship to circumnavigate the globe.  In 1519 five ships carrying 239 men left Seville, three years later 18 men returned on the Victoria, the only ship on the expedition that returned.

Thanks for the correction, and I completely forgot she had previously worn the blouse! She has so many similar ones that they are starting to all look the same LOL. Thanks for pointing this out x

Wendy, I managed to find other photos with a better view of the boots you suggested, but I think the new pair has a shorter heel.

Giorgio Armani's couture line leaves me in awe. The black velvet dress worn in Japan 06/04/17 was Armani Privé - that look was perfection. Needless to say, I am delighted to see the Queen showcase a piece from his diffusion line, this is not the first time - the tweed 06/01/19 and leather 26/10/18  jackets were also from Emporio Armani.
Generally, I am not a fan of frills, so I am pleasantly surprised at how much I am enjoying this pretty dress. With Armani you can guarantee on femininity balanced with refinement. When the Queen waved there was a complete circle of upright fabric around the elbow that looked light and airy. The stock photograph shows the sleeves pulled down, whereas Letizia has placed the elasticated flounce at the elbow. This neatly keeps the heaviest parts of the sleeve together and looks more formal. Dainty polka dots add further romance to the plissé effect skirt, while the fine crepe and smooth bodice prevent the piece from appearing overly heavy. During motion, the dress looked ethereal, the sunlight caught the sleeves creating a beautiful translucent effect. Timeless pearls and elegant slingbacks were the perfect compliments. It will be interesting to see if this dress becomes the new 'Massimo Dutti polka dot dress' 14/11/19 which Letizia seems particularly fond of, having been worn on several occasions.
The Queen looks perfectly attired for the National Park. I love the high waisted, slim cut of the jeans, the style is flattering and relevant. Turnups are discreet as the underside of the denim is the same colour as the top, unlike darker tones. The silk blouse provides a touch of understated polish to the chic monochrome look.

When she visit Andalucía she usually wears polka dots (lunares) and frills (volantes), they are tipycal of that region ( maybe I have said it thousands of times and I am as a pain in the neck...let me know..😉).

Nevertheless the frock is by Emporio Armani, who are as andaluz ( gentilic of Andalucía ) as the Empire State Building...so nothing....I wonder....

Hi Wendy, you are never a pain  :o) I always appreciate your insight - you give context to the outfits. Many thanks for the Spanish translations, I love learning new words!

Hi Simone, I'm not surprised that the velvet dress hasn't been re-worn, where it may have been custom made for Japan. The two jackets are so versatile, I hope we see them repeated in the future.

I wonder why she has never repeated the black Armani prive she wore in Japan, as other ones.

May it possible that some outfits have suffered unforeseen events as stains or something ??

I love this polka dot dress, the addition of the slim belt gives the outfit polish. The flow of the dress on movement is so feminine. The sleeves add interest and are just the right length, I really like the discreet frills at cuffs. The sling back pumps are an excellent choice. The perfect finishing touch for me was the glorious pearl and diamond drop earrings effortlessly elegant. This dress is very appropriate for the visit to the Church.
A perfect ensemble for the visit to the National Park. Silk blouse tucked into her jeans, casual but chic. The jeans look fantastic. Excellent fit and suit the Queen perfectly. The leather boots (love the colour) compliment this outfit perfectly. Khaki jacket looked smart against the backdrop of the outfit. If only I looked this good in jeans!

I thought the polka dot dress was a re-wear but I was confusing it with two other black/white dresses worn in Cuba last year. One was a Carolina Herrera polka dot sleeveless halter dress and the other a Massimo Dutti pleated black/white square print dress with 3/4 length sleeves. They are all beautiful designs but very similar. This Armani dress is a perfect combination of the two other dresses. On the casual front, the white jeans/khaki military jacket combo is a winner.

I like this dress, but Sandy I see why you were confusing it with others. If Letizia is ever in a fashion rut, it is that she has so many outfits that are black and white. If you look back over the last few years you will see them. There are black and white prints, stripes, dots, plaids. black tops/white bottoms, white tops/black bottoms. This is not necessarily a criticism, because black and white can be classic and sharp looking. But after awhile they do blur into each other.

I know what you mean, Laura. It's not just the black and white outfits that are similar but some of the other items such as red dresses, beige trench coats, black pants etc. etc. I think I would go crazy in a typical royals closet keeping everything cleaned, arranged and accounted for. Letizia has more clothes and shoes than your average boutique. Very fortunate lady indeed!

This is a beautiful, if slightly shapeless, dress from Armani, which is just about saved from swamped Letizia by the wonderful hang of the fabric, which flows like a dream when she's moving. It also helps keep the rather full sleeve frill in check. The overall fullness is simply a present fashion and I must wait patiently for the sleek outfits I prefer on Letizia. I love the black belt giving the polka dots some definition, and the black CH slingbacks are ideal. The Australian drop pearls are ideal too, the long drop in keeping with the graciousness of the dress.

Letizia's casual outfit is altogether more snappy and a credit to the High Street. The fit of her Mango jeans is eye-watering, and the same-label shirt is a great classic combo with them. I'm loving her tan boots and the natty olive cotton military jacket. Gold hoop earrings finish the look nicely with a hint of colour against the cream while being practical enough to be out of the way while engaged in outdoor activities. Thanks for a great post, lots of research on this one!

My goodness. Queen Letizia has worn two distinctly different outfits on this day. She carries off both looks with such aplomb. The delightful polka dot Armani dress is sweet and feminine. It photographs well but looks really delightful when the Queen is walking or shaking hands. You can then see the effect of the pleated sleeves, which is not obvious when the dress is seen in a static photo. Shoes, earrings and hair all add to the overall effect of an elegant Queen on a semi formal occasion.

The silk blouse worn with the off white jeans and tan boots looks both sophisticated but casual in line with the occasion.
